This document is a special power of attorney that appoints an attorney-in-fact to represent the individual, xxxxxxx, in any current or future labor cases where they are a party. The attorney-in-fact is authorized to sign documents, attend hearings, negotiate settlements, and take other actions to aid in the prompt resolution of the case(s). I, xxxxxxx of legal age, Filipino, and with home address at xxxxxxxxxx,
do hereby name, constitute, and appoint the xxxxxx, with home address at xxxxxxxx, to be my attorney-in-fact in any labor case in which I may be included as a party and in such other cases that may be filed in connection with the aforementioned matter, and for this purpose, the attorney-in-fact, is hereby authorized to sign, execute and deliver all verifications and certifications of non-forum shopping and other procedural requirements for pleadings filed for and on behalf of myself for the subject case and such other related cases that may be filed in connection therewith by or against myself; attend any and all hearings or proceedings thereof, to do, perform and consider all such matters as may be brought up during any stage of the proceedings thereof, including any such appeal or review before the Court of Appeals, Supreme Court and such other tribunals or agencies, enter into amicable settlement, submit the dispute to alternative modes of dispute resolution including mediation and/or arbitration, and in connection with any possible pre-trial thereof, the simplification of the case issues, the necessity or desirability of amendments to the pleadings, the making of stipulations or admission of facts and of documents, the limitation of the number of witnesses, and the propriety of rendering judgments on the pleadings or summary judgment, and/or such other matters as may aid in the prompt disposition of the action(s); and in connection with the foregoing, the said attorney-in-fact is hereby authorized to execute in my name, any and all papers relating thereto, and to sign, execute and deliver any and all agreements or other writing connected therewith, withdraw complaints or desist from prosecuting cases, as well as execute affidavits of desistance and such other affidavits, file an appeal and any other petitions allowed under Rule 65, 1997 Revised Rules of Civil Procedure, apply for any and all equitable remedies, including those for any injunctive relief and attachment, as well as for the execution and implementation of any judgments, resolutions, and/or orders, and/or such other actions or matters as may aid in the prompt disposition of the action;
HEREBY GIVING AND GRANTING unto the said attorney-in-fact
full power and authority to do and perform every act and thing whatsoever requisite and necessary to be done in and above the premises, with full power of delegation and substitution, and hereby ratifying and confirming all that the said attorney shall lawfully do or cause to be done by virtue of these presents.
