The internet and the ability to
purchase nearly anything on-line
has deeply cut into retail profits, but
Lewis said, cyber shopping doesn’t
have all the advantages that local
retail can provide.
“You can buy clothes on-line but you
can’t try them on,” Lewis said. “The
internet is here to stay but small,
brick and mortar retail is here to stay,
too.”
