The lessons should be discussed within the grading period in accordance to the level of students
handled. The students should have a reading test especially if they can notice some students who can’t read
well. Lesson plans should be passed to the Master teacher assigned every Friday.

3. Problems/Issues/Concerns that surfaced during the sessions


The school don’t have modules that will be easier to use for the students. The group also had a problem
with the literature that they will use as springboard for the lessons.

4. Recommendations provided by the group.


Look for Filipino literatures that will suit the level of comprehension of the students. It can be coming
from the internet or the books from the library and the references still available. Then, the lesson plan will be
placed on the table of the Master teacher for checking. If there is a consultation about the lesson plan it should
be on vacant time of the consultant and the teacher.

5. Point of Agreement
It was agreed that as much as possible the following lessons will be discussed for the first grading.

b. Phil. Literature (Narrative,Kinds of Narratives)
c. Elements of a Short Story
d . Library Lessons, Gen. References (Dictionary)
f. Reading Styles (Skimming, Scanning, Inference, Predicting Outcomes)

h. Kinds of Paragraph
i. Context Clues
j. analogy
k. following instructions
l. Kinds of Sentence According to Purpose
Another was that the teachers should look for the literature that is best for their students to be able to
come up with the lessons.

6. Commitment
The teachers will be giving their lesson plans to the Master teacher for checking.
The teachers will search for Philippine literature stories.

The teachers were given assignments for the Demonstration Teaching of Ma’am Angelita Miñebe.
The teachers had agreed on certain days of the week in which they will have their reading remedial.
The group assigned the reporters for the next LAC Session.
The Master teacher gave some reminders that were discussed from the department.

3. Problems/Issues/Concerns that surfaced during the sessions


The topic about inference and predicting outcomes are difficult for the students.
The schedules of the teachers as well as the allocated level for the reading program were one of the
concerns.
The schedules of the teachers was asked for it will be used for observation purposes.

4. Recommendations provided by the group.


It was recommended that the members of the group have their different assignments during the Demo
Teaching of Ms. Miñebe. The Reading Remedial will push through by August 22, 2017. The teachers will be using
the RJ bldg. Reading Room/other room for Mrs. San Fernando /Mr. Habitan/Mrs. Tuazon/Ms. Parane and as well
as the Neptali Bldg. 4th floor for Mrs. Oliquino. The assigned documentors for LAC Sessions will be Mrs. Tuazon,
Mr. Morta and for some certificates it will be Mrs. Oliquino. The first reporters were assigned as well as the topic
to be discussed. It was also recommended that the group should have finger foods while having the LAC session.

5. Point of Agreement
It was agreed that the recommendations given will be done. Also the master teacher as well as her
subordinate agreed that there will be observations a week after the First periodical test. The assigned reporters
were Mrs. Michelle Tuazon for Inference and Mrs. Mylene Oliquino for Predicting Outcomes.

6. Commitment
It was agreed that the LAC session will be held again at the library after class on August 14, 2017.

2. Highlights/Key points of the talk/discussion


Inference is an educational guess that is guided by the evidences taken from the text and from the prior
knowledge (Schema) of the reader. Predicting outcomes is also a guess that is taken from evidences. It was
discussed that both are similar with each other but inference has more evidences and uses prior knowledge. It
was also stated that inference or predicting outcomes of the readers can be different from each other.
The next assigned reporter is Mr. Morta. Also, the demo teacher confirmed that there is a change with
the schedule.

3. Problems/Issues/Concerns that surfaced during the sessions


The lessons for the second grading, the next lesson to be discussed for the LAC session, and the change
of the schedule of Demo were some of the concerns.

4. Recommendations provided by the group.


The recommendations of the group were the following:
a. Mr. Rodelito Morta will report on Lesson Plannning.
b. The next LAC session will be on September 11, 2017
c. The lessons for the second grading are the following:
1. Adjectives (Degrees of Comparison) order of adjectives
2. Sentences according to Structure
3. Figurative Language
4. Poetry
5. Elements of Poetry (rhyme, rhythm, figures of speech, theme)

The lessons for second grading was given.
The next reporter will be Mr. Rodelito Morta for the Lesson Planning.

It was agreed that the LAC session will be held again at the library after class on September 11, 2017.
