Details:
In this assignment, you will form a team. Maximum of 5 people. The scenario is that you will start
with information chosen from the class presentations about the future product we are proposing. Your
team will create a business case for the product. The report is for the program manager, and should
include the time frame and the market(s) which this business case applies to.
What is important is that you convey the information in a concise way. There is no limit to the amount
of words, but the program manager is a very busy person. Getting information across quickly is a skill
worth developing. They will also expect you have gathered data to confirm your recommendations.
They will definitely expect that you have bench-marked the industry sector you are looking at. They
will expect that you have considered all the key elements of the vehicle. For the purpose of this
assignment we are going to choose 5 focus areas inside this assignment. Each team member will
choose one area to be their responsibility. The team will present the finished report, but, it is the sum
of the 5 elements done by 5 members. Remember to use consistent formatting so it does not look like
the work of 5 individuals. (If you have less than 5 in your team then only choose the number of
topics for 1 per person). The final 3rd assignment will be a refinement of this, but be individual
submission. Choose the sub topic here that you are keen on refining into the final polished business
case submission of assignment 3.
