CREATE NEW EPS

1. Enterprise  Enterprise Project Structure.


2. Click Add.
3. Rename EPS ID & EPS Name.
4. Change the EPS position in the hierarchy using arrows.

1. Project  WBS  Add  Type your WBS.

CREATING A CALENDAR
Three types of calendar:
1) Global
2) Resources
3) Project

APPLY CALENDAR ON ALL ACTIVITIES
1) Insert a column showing calendar.
2) Select first activity.
3) Double click on calendar, and choose project calendar you
setup earlier.

APPLYING RELATIONSHIPS
1. Select activity  Relationships tab at bottom layout  Assign
 Select Predecessor from the list by double clicking or click
sign.

ADDING LOGIC RELATIONSHIPS


1. Logic relationships are Finish-to-Start by default.
2. To change the relationship type, double click in the
"Relationship Type" field then choose the appropriate type
from the drop-down menu.

DEFINING RESOURCES
1. Enterprise  Resources
2. Or click Resources in the directory toolbar.

1. Add  Create Resource ID for project eg: Bridge  Finish.
2. Change the position in the hierarchy using arrows.

1. Select resource you created before  Add  Type your resource
name and click Next.
2. Define your resource type  Finish. (Ignore Unit of Measure)
3. Use arrow if you need to change the hierarchy position.

PRINT SETUP
1. File  Page Setup.
2. In the Page tab make sure to tick "Fit Timescale" to 1 page
wide.
3. Define Margins, Header, and Footer.
4. In the “Options” tab, specify:
- Timescale Start: PS-3D [-3D: In order to provide a little space
(3 days) to the left of the Gantt Chart.]
(You can type at this column or you can specify
the date)
- Timescale Finish: PF+5D [+5D: In order to provide a little
space (5 days) to the right of the Gantt Chart.]
(You can type at this column or you can specify
the date)
- Select data items to be printed
5. Click OK.
6. File  Print Preview to preview your setup.
