What is the best way for you to spend your free time?

There are hundreds of ways to spend your time when you are a teenager. I personally
enjoy spending my time with my friends and family. However, people have different
opinions on what is the best way to organize your time. Many people say that the best
way a teenager can be busy is to look for a part-time job, because teens learn to be
responsible and independent. Also, they earn a little money for their personal expenses.

In the other hand some people think that the best option for young people is to spend
their time doing whatever they want. After all, it's their life. They think that teenagers
should do the activities they enjoy, because they already make enough effort at school.
Teens will achieve incredible personal development as they enjoy their time doing the
things they like.

From my point of view it is necessary for young people o decide how to spend their
time. Of course, adults can help them decide, but teens should have enough time to have
a part-job if they feel like it but also to go out occasionally with their friends.

PART 2: A STORY 170 WORDS (140-190 w)

Lara saw something unusual on the grass and she went to take a closer look.
Carefully, she approached the small object hidden among the blades of grass. With a
closer look, she discovered it was a wristwatch. The watch was extremely bright, and
emitted reflections when it received sunlight.
Lara was extremely excited. She was always looking for treasures in the garden. Until
that day, the only thing she had found was a five-cent coin. She ran quickly to the house
to show Grandma her wonderful find.

When Lara showed Grandma the watch, she smiled. It was a sincere and tender smile.
Grandma told Lara that it was her favourite watch, and that she had lost it while taking a
walk around. Lara was certainly disappointed, because she had believed it was a great
discovery. The clock might have belonged to a pirate, or could have been a magic clock.
But it was simply grandma's watch. However, when Lara looked into Grandma’s eyes,
she felt better. Grandma was really happy to have found her watch. And for Lara, that
was better than any other adventure.

Is it better to go to a large school or to a small school?

There are many doubts about whether the best schools are large or small. This depends a
lot on the small aspects of each school that we look at. In the first place, when we talk
about studying and learning, I consider that a small school is better. Since there are
fewer students in each class, the teacher can give a much more specialized education to
each student, according to the personal needs of the young people.

Worse when we talk about making friends, a big school is much better. Because there
are more students. With more students, young people can choose their companies better.
Another factor to take into account is the extracurricular classes. In large schools there
are many more activities of this type, since there are more students who join these
activities.

In conclusion, both schools have their good things and their bad things. The choice of
one school or another depends on the needs and priorities of each student.

PART 2: AN EMAIL 188 Words (140-190 w)

Hello Sarah! I am very happy that you write to me and ask me about my vacations.

I usually go to a couple of vacation spots throughout the year. At Christmas, I travel to

Ávila, a city of Castilla y León, in order to visit my family. My grandparents, my uncles
and my cousins live in that city. Normally we do not do many activities, although we
are going to do ice skating, we take many walks around the city and we all have dinner
together to celebrate Christmas. They guide me a lot this Christmas because they are
familiar and quiet. It is a time to enjoy with family and friends.

However, in summer my vacations are much livelier. I usually go to a summer camp in

Arriondas, where we do a lot of activities, like climbing or nature walks. These
activities are great, especially to enjoy with friends. Another thing that I love about the
camps is that you can meet a lot of people.
