The program deals with converting the multitude of problems which
educators and care providers are faced with in everyday practice into a set of methods that will help these educators/teachers, social workers, psychologists, para-medics, nurses and care providers to create a new way of interaction/approach. Therefore the CARE methodology will be introduced. CARE, a four- step (Concrete – Attribute – React – Evaluate) program is a family- and school/community based intervention, designed to prevent and treat child and adolescent mental, psychological, socio-emotional and behaviour problems. The goal of CARE is to improve youth’s problems by improving family, community and teacher interactions which are presumed to be directly related to the child’s symptoms, thus reducing risk factors and strengthening protective mechanisms. CARE is a short-term, problem-oriented intervention. Participants will be trained in techniques to this methodology. And this via an interdisciplinary approach
