Inquiry Module Reflection

Peer Feedback on Project

The peer feedback that I received for my Inquiry Module Project was filled with

constructive criticism. My peers had given me positive feedback about my organization and

detail throughout my project. I was also informed that the flow of my writing was suburb. It was

comforting to know that my hard work put into my project was already paying off. Receiving

positive feedback from my peers motivated me to finish the project with the same strength I

began it with.

I did not exclusively obtain positive feedback though. After reviewing my project, one of

my peers informed me that I needed to include a works cited page for the sources I used. Another

one of my peers advised me to add more information pertaining to my visit at the IgnitED Lab.

Both peers’ input was extremely valuable to strengthening my project and to ensure I obtain a

good grade for it. The feedback I collected was overall helpful, as well as inspiring.

Implementation of Feedback

The revisions for my project that I made possible to take place was including a works

cited page and including more detail relating toward my visit at the IgnitED Lab. Creating a

works cited page was not a strenuous activity since I had a page dedicated to the sources I had

used throughout the development of my project. The information that was needed to be added to

my project was also a simple task. Going to the IgnitED Lab was a memorable experience for
me, therefore I did not forget any valuable information. Revisions were uncomplicated to

accomplish in order for me to better my project.

Learning Reflection

The process of reflection and iteration has been useful as well as eye opening. I now

know what else to search for when I am editing my own writing as well as components that

could be added. I would take notes while at the IgnitED Lab and set completion deadlines. I did

not procrastinate during the time of the project, however I think it would have been beneficial for

me to not complete the project all in one day. I finished the project the day after I visited the

IgnitED Lab and now I realize I should have been more strategic with my time. Reviewing my

notes from the IgnitED Lab would also have been helpful with the overall construction of the

project. I am satisfied with my project and how efficient I was with completing it, although I

wish I took time to enjoy the lab more and spend more time learning about the technologies.

Alternative Use/ Future Directions

The Dell Interactive Monitor, 3D printer, and virtual reality could be used for several

different areas other than educational purposes. I learned the the Dell Interactive Monitor could

be used by large corporations for meetings. The monitor easily makes any meeting unique and

memorable for employees or even clients. The 3D printer simply has the capability of creating

any image from a computer into a tangible object with no help from a human. I realized that

virtual reality could also be used for children with sickness and or disabilities.Virtual reality

would help those children have real life experiences without having to worry about

transportation or the entire travel process. The technologies that I researched can easily be used

in other subjects besides history, or even outside of the classroom.
