ABSTRACT
The present research work called: "Topographic survey with unmanned aerial
vehicle for civil engineering projects in the Institute of Higher Technological
Education of the Army - ETE". Chorrillos - Lima, 2019 ”, has as a general objective
the Surveying with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for Civil Engineering Projects.
The methodology used is the following: it was based on four phases: PHASE 01:
Planning, in this phase it consisted of establishing a series of coordinates of 11
high-precision geodetic points of order “C” and photocontrol points that were then
used as points of Ground control for photogrammetric flight in this phase also
consists in determining the cost, project area, number of images, personnel, flight
time, etc. PHASE 02: Flight, flight planning and monitoring, take-off and landing of
the VANT, imaging, image verification. PHASE 03: Photogrammetric process in
cabinet, post processing, basic post processing, and professional post processing.
PHASE 04: Cartographic process, the vectorization of all the characteristics of the
land, product validation and printing presentation is carried out, the type of
research is experimental in the field, the level of research is descriptive -
explanatory cross-sectional studies that are studies designed to measure the
prevalence of an exposure and / or result in a defined population and at a specific
point of time, the method is based primarily on the observation of phenomena as
they occur in their natural context to analyze them later, As indicated by Valencia ,
M., Plaza, R., Ñaupas, H. and Palacios, J. (2015), the research design is cross-
sectional and is defined as the design of an individual, observational investigation
that measures one or more characteristics or variables, at a given time, the
population and sample is defined and at a specific point of time within the IESTPE
- ETE facilities, the technique used according to Corredor (2015), ensures that
photogrammetry is the technique that allows establishing the dimensions and
position of objects in space from aerial photographs, achieving it from the
intersection of two or more photos, thus obtaining digital terrain models They serve
multiple uses in the engineering
branch. A VANT (unmanned aerial vehicle) was used as a tool for data collection
and image information, using high-tech equipment such as relative static GPS R8,
to establish Geodetic points of order “C” that served as Control points for

photogrammetric flight and process them using software, the drone's flight path
has been programmed through the DJI Ground Station Pro application (DJI GS
Pro), an iPad application that performs automatic flight missions. The
photogrammetric digital image processing was carried out with the Agisoft
PhotoScan, MicroStation V9 and ArcGIS 10.5 program and as a result the
orthophoto, digital surface model, contour lines, orthophoto and the topographic
plane of the IESTPE - ETE were obtained, which will serve as a point Starting to
carry out engineering projects in general, security planning, decision making,
vulnerable areas, extension of blocks, among others.
The use of DRONES for topographic surveys allowed us to obtain:
The Orthophoto, MDS and the topographic plan that will be used to carry out a
geographic information system, safety planning, areas available for the
construction of new environments, construction calculations and the location of all
artificial and natural geographical objects that are within the property
