MATERIAL DEVELOPMENT OF SPEAKING

 The technic of teaching speaking by using DIALOGUE:

Example you teach your student about present tense, so you can using dialogue by theme “daily
activity”.

The technic are:

 First, divide your students with their pairs it could be with her/his beside.
 Second, look at the moment they ara sportive at the time when they with their pairs.
 Third, tell to them about their thema, example their daily activity so, they have to make
dialogue with their pairs about daily activity.
 Fourth, when they talk each others you have to look them such as walk around them and
listen them.
 After thay talked each other you have to ask one of the pairs come to the front and they
have to dialogue infront of the class.
 And then, after the pairs dialogue infront of class so you have to tell the others student to
repeat after the pairs in front of.
 And after they student repeat it, you can choose one pairs more to dialogue infront of
class such as before.
 And finally after they dialogue infront of class you can ask to others student what is
usually “Fatimah” do after breakfast? (volume of dialogue fatimah).

 The technic of speaking by using GUESSING GAME:

This game use by groups. The benefits use this game is speak and listen to students in level
beginner and intermediate.

The technic are:

 First, divide your student to two groups.


 Second, ask one of volunteer each groups to stand infront of their groups. Every
volunteer banned look to the white board.
 Third, write on white board the word, example the material about technologhy so you can
write “mobile phone”.
 Fourth, ask the others student/ the member of group volunteer to say characteristic of the
write have written on the whiteboard. Example: you can call your mom.
 And then, give a chance to volunteer to guesing the word.
 And the first volunteer have guessing the word you can give scors to her/his group.
 After that, repeat again and write the word on the whiteboard with the diffrent volunteer.
 And give the volunteer to guessing.
 And then the volunteer can guessing give her/his scor.
 Ask to your students to change to be volunteer.
 And finally do it such as before.

 The technic of speaking by using SIMON SAYS:

The technic are:

 First, ask your student to make a big circle.


 Second, ask one of your student to be volunteer. And she/he stands at the middle on
the circle.
 Example your material about part of body, so you can ask them to use sentence by
using parts of body.
 Than, the volunteer give the instruction, example “simons says raise your hand” and
the others students have to do the volunter said.
 If the students late or did not do the volunteer said you can give she/he punisment, for
example the punisment is you can write her face with a little marker or others.

 The technic of speaking by using GUESSING WHAT WE SAID:

For example you teach about past tense, so the technic are:

 First, divided your students to 4 group if your students 20/25 if you students 30-up
you can divided yousstudents 5-8 groups.
 Second, say to your student to sit with their group or could be make a circle or line.
 After the students with their group you give them name of their group or they make a
neme of their group and their code.
 And then you ask one group come to the front and the others group still with their
group.
 After that you write on the paper a sentence about past tense and you look to the
group have standed in the front of.
 The group in the front of have to discuss what should they say, for example the name
of group standed in the front of “TWILIGHT”, they are 6 people and you give them
sentence of past “I bought beautiful clothes last week”, example name of your
students group twilight rina the word is I, Rani is Bought, Rahma is Beautiful,
Rahmad is Clothes, Rendi is last and Risky is week.
 After they discuss about what word should they say you count 1, 2, 3 and they tell the
word together. It can be 3 times they said and you give them instuctio.
 And the others group have to discuss what the group of TWILIGHT said.
 And if the group can guessing you give them scor.
 After that you can change what group should come to the front.
 And finally what group have the best scors you can give them result. And what group
have the bad scors you can give them punisment.
