Procedure: (Good morning class. How is your day?) (Check the attendance) (Kindly get your spelling booklet we will have a spelling exercise) a. Drill and Review: Spelling: 1. Connector- to join two or more things together. Ex. Love is a good connector between two people. 2. chronological- arranged in the order that things happened. Ex. His story is in chronological order so it’s easy to understand. ` 3. Logical- relating to the formal processes used in thinking and reasoning. Ex. Her action explain a logical explanation for her behavior. 4. Sequence- the order in which things should happen. Ex. The sequence of her story is very interesting. 5. Summation- a brief description of the most important information about something. Ex. The summation of Kevin’s report was well defined. (Do we have an assignment?) (For us to create or produced a delicious and tasty food we must be mentally awake to make the procedure properly and precisely followed.) Presentation and Discussion: > Narration- is to describe in detail the event(s) that happened or will happened. > Chronological- is the arrangement in the order manner the things that happened. How to narrate events chronological manner? In narrating events chronologically, we must think of the sequence of events happened in the story. Narrating events should start at the beginning of the story up to its end. Use transition or time order words to connect events. Time order words:
First, Next, Then, After that, Finally
First, Second, Third, Fourth…. Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow… (Note: Time order words is important and useful for it helps our story, flow from one idea to the another easy to understand.) Ex. When I wake up in the morning, first, I wash my face. Next, I prepare breakfast then eat. Then, I check my bag if things I need in school for today are all in. After that, I take a bath and finally, I wear my uniform and go to school. (Now, we will have a group activity) (I want you to group into three) (What are things we should do if we have a group activity?) Activity 1 (Group): Direction: Each group will arrange the sentences in chronological pattern and link them using the time order words. Demonstrate the procedure. Group 1: How to make a cup of tea.

information and form hypothesis. After that, conduct an experiment. Lastly, analyze the data and draw a conclusion. Activity 3 (learner) Direction: Below are the series of events on how to plant a seed. Narrate the events chronologically and link with time order words: First, Next, Then, After that, Also, Lastly. Write the time order words before the number.
