My name is Miguel Santiago.

I was born in Mexico City in 1987, but now I live and work in San
Jose, California. I'm a computer engineer. My parents and I moved from Mexico to San Diego,
California in 1989. (I was two years old then!) I stayed in San Diego for 16 years. I grew up
there, and I went to school there. My teachers in San Diego helped me a lot. They said, "You
are a great student. You should be a doctor or an engineer!" After high school, I went to the
University of California at Berkeley, and I studied computer engineering for four years.
I graduated in May 2014, and in September of that year I got a job in San Jose. I'm a manager
now, and my life is great.

When I have free time on the weekends, I like to relax .

Max's dad said he had to study tonight, so Max is’nt going to the
movie with us.

I'm excited because we’re going to the beach tomorrow.

Patty's going to move to San Francisco next month.

Phil is sad because he’s not going to have a birthday party this year.
