Cable braids headband

Headband is convenient also for beginners – to learn how to work with cables almost
ideal. You can use any kind of yarn – you just have to realize according to draft how
wide should be your headband.
For questions about the pattern don´t hesitate to send email to
hanapaimen@gmail.com or pm to my Facebook page „Hana Paimen yarns“. I will
gladly help you (:

Material:
- fingering yarn (for example Drops
Fabel 50g/205m or Drops Delight)
– cca 150m
- appropriate needles, with Fabel
should be needles size 3mm –
don´t have to be very long, great
are circular needles 30cm, or some
short straight needles
- cable needle (the same size as
your main needles)
- tapestry needle, scissors…

Draft:
Between every single braid you will knit 1 stitch (on WRONG side) and purl 1 stitch
(on RIGHT side). You don´t knit these „1 stitches“ neither at the beginning nor at the
end of the row.
It´s up to you how many braids you want – with thicker yarn maybe will be great 2,
with thinner yarn maybe 4…
Headband on photos are 10 cm wide.

About lenght… That´s kinda tricky set the perfect lenght – I´ve tried my own
headband on my head to fits me well. Untight headband measures 47 cm (18x cable
braid pattern) – this doesn´t mean that I have such a small head, but the headband is
very stretching (which is desirable).
When you have finished headband, don´t cut off the yarn.
Block it.
Then you can crochet it on wrong side, in case you don´t know hot to crochet sew it
on wrong side. Left the 15 cm tail, fasten off the yarn and cut off the rest.

You can sell your headbands – but it would be respectable to state the source of the
pattern.
Distribute this pattern in any way without the owner´s consent is prohibited.
