DIFFERENTIATION
Students that have a hard
time understanding the
rotation their team members
will tell them where to go and
explain the clockwise rotation.
The coaches will assist with
any arguments students have
about the rules. For example,
if it falls right in between the
line students ask if it’s in or
out coach will explain why it is
in or out and decide who gets
the point.

STUDENT EXPECTATIONS:
Students are expected to keep
rally consistent. I expect to see
students using the proper body
movement for each stroke and
have control of the birdie.

Psychomotor:
Body movement with arm should
always be bent and then extended
when hitting the birdie.

Cognitive:
Students will remember that serves
are always underhand and not
overhead in a real badminton game.

Affective:
Students will take care of
equipment after we clean up.

Can we serve overhead in a real

badminton game?

Affective:
Why do we pick up birdies with our
hand?
Can we touch other players with our
