INTRODUCTION
Jeremiah 23:18
"For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath
perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word,
and heard it?
We are created in the image and likeness of God; to function
and operate just like God."

God is a Seer; and much the same way we are

created with the capacity to see beyond the natural to
behold the original state of matter as it is in the spirit.

Genesis 1:31
"And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it
was very good. And the evening and the morning were the
sixth day"

The spiritual DNA of the new creation is equipped with

maximum sensory receptacles to discern and see the
invisible as part of our relationship with the Father.

John 4:24
"God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him
in spirit and in truth."

The nature of God and the protocols in relating with

Him requires that we see the invisible.

The invisible is the realm of visions, dreams and divine

encounters.

2 Corinthians 12:1
"It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to
visions and revelations of the Lord."

Seeing the invisible is a possiblity we have by the gift

of discernment from the Holy Spirit. Discernment is a
restoration of spiritual sight as originally possessed in
the beginning.

Genesis 3:6-8
"And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food,
and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired
to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat,
and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that
they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and
made themselves aprons.
And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the
garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid
themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the
trees of the garden."

The woman before the sin of eating the fruit could see
beyond the physical; but lost it right after and could
not see when God came in the garden except to hear
the footsteps of His voice.

But in redemption in Christ, we are awakened to the

spiritual capacity of seeing in the spirit once again!!

Matthew 13:14-16
"And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith,
By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and
seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull
of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time
they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and
should understand with their heart, and should be converted,
and I should heal them.
But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for
they hear."

ACTIVATING YOUR SPIRITUAL SIGHT

Acknowledge the reality of the unseen realm -
The Basic Level of Seeing

The basic level of seeing in the spirit is the level that

every believer basically operates from because of the
make-up of our being; we have been given the ability
to see and hence our senses are activated at various
levels for that.

2 Corinthians 4:18
"While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the
things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are
temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."

The unseen realms are the ultimate reality of

existence where all matter derives its form. It is the
realm of all that exists, which have not necessarily
manifested either in time, place or purpose.

The unseen realms reveal the operations of all kinds of

forces within three planes: the spiritual plane, the
heavenly (eternal) plane and the supernatural plane.

Spiritual Plane - the general world of spirits; good and

evil. It is the active plane of spiritual operations.

Heavenly (Eternal) Plane - the realm of the heavens

that hosts the Presence of God and the Angelic Order.

Supernatural Plane - the realm of manifestation where

an aspect of the spiritual plane is influenced and
repackaged for manifestation in the seen realm. This is the
plane that all manner of manipulations are determined and
released into manifestation.

Press in By Faith - The Faith Level of Seeing

The faith level of seeing is when you consciously

position yourself to behold higher dimensions of
revelation by reaching deeper in the spirit of your
 mind to harness the potentials of your regenerated
senses.

Hebrews 4:2
"For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them:
but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed
with faith in them that heard it."

As we stand before God in His counsel, we should

believe that His words are light; and hence must be
seen as they are spoken.

Romans 12:6
"Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is
given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to
the proportion of faith"

Like Moses and Daniel, we should cultivate the faith to

look and we will always be opened to see.

Daniel 4:10
"Thus were the visions of mine head in my bed; I saw, and
behold a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof
was great.
I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a
watcher and an holy one came down from heaven"

Daniel actively positions himself to see and he kept

looking or enquiring into the visions of his mind to see
more.

Drive the direction of your imagination towards the full

sight of divine revelations because your imagination is
the gateway into the realms of unseen.

Ephesians 1:17-18
"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory,
may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the
knowledge of him:
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye
may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches
of the glory of his inheritance in the saints"
 The Gift of Discerning of Spirits - The Gift
Level of Seeing

This is the level that operates at the speed of the Holy

Spirit; with requisite grace to access a rather more
dramatic levels of revelations.

This is the level where the senses of your spirit are a

bit more enhanced by the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Hebrews 5:14
"But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even
those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to
discern both good and evil."

Discernment is a base ability of the regenerated

human spirit but at a gift level, it becomes sharper
and more profound.

1 Corinthians 12:10
"To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to
another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of
tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues"

At the gift level, discernment becomes the

supernatural ability to detect, test and express the
spirit behind every operation - human, divine, angelic
and demonic.

The gift of discerning of spirits, like other gifts can be

coveted in prayer.

2 Kings 6:17
"And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his
eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the
young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full
of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha."

1 Corinthians 14:1
"Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather
that ye may prophesy."
 The gift of discerning of spirits, like other gifts can be
imparted by one that has been perfected in its
operation.

Hebrews 7:7
"And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the
better."

Romans 1:11
"For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some
spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established"

2 Timothy 1:6
"Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the
gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands."
