ABSTRACT
 The study focused on the Perception of Lupaoeños to Lupao

Massacre. It tackles the different perception of Lupaoeños with regards to Lupao

Massacre.

Participants consisted of 100 from Barangay Namulandayan and from

Non-Namulandayan Barangays’. The study made use of questionnaire about the

Perception of Lupaoeños to Lupao Massacre. It is composed of 20 mix positive

and negative statements.

All responses from the questionnaire were tabulated and analyzed using

descriptive correlative design to answer the objectives. The relationship between

the dependent and independent variable were determined using descriptive and

inferential statistics (Pearson moment correlation and T-test) in analyzing the

results of the study.

Among the 20 statements that the researchers provided in their

instrument, results showed that there are somehow significant differences

between the perception of the two (2) groups.

However the perceptions of the two groups I n terms of felt sadness, the

perception of the two groups was found to be weak but positively correlated.

Additionally, since Lupao massacre took place in Namulandayan, the

respondents from Namulandayan were more saddened when Lupao massacre

was concern.
