NOTIFICATION
It is hereby notified for general information that the 2nd Half Yearly Departmental
Examination of Officers, 2019 conducted by the Board of Revenue for all Departments of Govt. of
Odisha will be held from 26.12.2019 to 31.12.2019 at the venues as per the programme
enclosed. The details of examination schedule (both written & viva-voce) can be downloaded
from website of Board (boardodisha.nic.in).
Viva-voce Examination will be held from 02.01.2020 to 18.01.2020 inside the office
building of Board of Revenue, Odisha, Rajaswa Bhawan, Chandinichouk, Cuttack according to the
Rulesfor Departmental Examination of the respective services as per the programme enclosed.
The Forenoon and Afternoon sittings of the written examination will begin at 10:00 A.M &
2:00 P.M respectively. The Officers must remain present at the examination hall 15 minutes
before the commencement of the Examination.
The examinees are required to furnish application through the Head of Office in the
prescribed proforma which can be downloaded from the website (boardodisha.nic.in) along with
two attested passport size photographs and one self addressed stamped envelope addressed to
the Secretary, Board of Revenue, Odisha, Cuttack, so as to reach at the Board of Revenue on or
before s" December, 2019 positively, failing which no Admit Card will be issued in favour of the
applicant. If the head of cffice is an examinee, his / her application should duly be
forwarded through the next Higher Authority. The application format shall also be available
with the officer designated by the Collectors of all the districts and at the Examination Branch,
Board of Revenue, Odisha, Cuttack. No candidates shall be allowed into the Examination Hall
without ADMIT CARD.The officers under training at the Gopabandhu Academy of Administration,
Bhubaneswar / Madhusudan Institute of Accounts and Finance, Bhubaneswar / any other
institution should submit their application in the above manner through their Academy / Institute.
Admit Cards shall be issued to the Examinees during the mid of December,2019 through under
certificate of posting . If any examinee does not receive his / her Admit Card by 21. 12. 2019,
he/she may contact the Examination Branch, Board of Revenue, (Tel. No. 0671-2508006). For
answering the written paper "with books" the officers will be allowed to use only Bare Acts and
Rules brought by them. No other reference material shall be allowed inside the Examination Hall.
Any candidate found indulging in any kind of malpractice during examination hours shall be
debarred from appearing in the Departmental Examination of the next three years. Besides she /
he shall also be recommended for Departmental action.
As per Govt. in. Rev. & D.M. Deptt., Odisha, Bhubaneswar vide their L.No.Con-R-45/14-
14585/R&D.M, dated 10.05.2016, the Odisha Revenue Service Group-B Officers are allowed to
appear the Departmental Examination.
The Examinees (Except Finance and Civil Supply Services), who want to get exemption
from appearing at the ODIAExamination should apply separately enclosing attested copy of H.S.C.
or its equivalent or Higher Qualification having Odia as a subject through their respective Head of
offices.
The examinees of Finance Service and Civil Supply Service who want to get Exemption
from appearing at the Odia Examination should apply directly to their concerned Departments
respectively.
