 Course Overview

• Objective: The course will introduce students to

the basic concepts of data analytics and serve
as an introduction to machine learning.
• How does this course dovetail with the other
courses
– Data Analytics Labs, Math fundamentals courses,
Probability and Statistics part, Machine Learning/ pattern
recognition advanced courses
• Course style: Mostly conceptual, with some amount
of math and some applications using R
