Summary Statement:

Under the general direction of the Operations Manager, supervises all the production, supply, logistics
and dispatch operations of the factory. Major duties include attending meeting in the main office and
holding factory level grid production meeting, supervising workers at different level, checking for the
quality of produce coming in and planning for the weekend support further it includes to plan for quick
delivery to supermarket as and when the orders are placed.

Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure the factory work has started on time
Check for the quality of the produce in the field
Inspect the produce packed to ensure no metal
contaminants
Enforce hygiene and cleanliness at all times

Attend morning meeting in the main office
Conduct factory level meeting to assess the
current situation and work on issues
Plan for weekend supply for the orders
Formulate promotion plans for radish supply to
supermarket
Forecast and plan for untimely orders made by
supermarkets

Co-ordinate and ensure lorries dispatch for the
supermarket on time at EOD

Required/Preferred Qualifications/Competencies
Required Sound knowledge and experience of the life cycle of different farm plants
Capable of determining the quality of produce that would be coming in the
factor in future
Able to work independently with minimal guidance and should be able to
lead a team
Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple activities in different units
Experience in forecasting for weekend supply for the supermarket

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Food processing

 3-5 years of experience in food tech/food processing industry

 Should have good analytical and forecasting skills depending on the market conditions
