That depends!

if you are using Windows 10 with latest updates then you don’t need
to install any third party antivirus software. Windows defender is more than enough.
Also if you are careful enough while browsing the internet and when adding any files
to your computer you will never need an antivirus. I used to use Avast antivirus but
after updating to Win10 I am using Windows defender.

Regarding your question, both antivirus softwares are good. QuickHeal has regular
updates as I have used that as well. Don’t know much about McAfee. But in the end if
you have Windows 10 in your pc then you don’t have to spend extra bucks on an
antivirus software as it is already there.

I've been using the antivirus softwares for about 10 years.

First I want to say “McCafe” is the worst antivirus of all. It is better to use windows in-
built security system (Windows defender in Windows 10) which has far better options
than McCafe.

Avast slows down your system gradually because of its heaviness.

Kaspersky is a fake antivirus and you can check here why

Kaspersky Antivirus accused of creating fake malware for over 10 years

ESET, AVG are not up to the mark. Better not to use them. They simply waste the
resources of your system.

Bitdefender is currently the best antivirus of all. But casual users do not need such
complex software. It is designed for system admins and servers mostly.

Quick heal is very good for casual users. It does its job in the background without
disturbing the user too many times. Quick heal total security provides banking
security, sandboxing, PC tuner, USB auto scan, parental controls and a lot more.

It doesn't remove the malware / virus rather it repairs them. Which is a quite good
feature.

It immediately notifies if any worms or trojans entered into our system.

And also It is not a heavy software like avast and others.

My personal suggestion is to choose quick heal if you are a casual user. Choose
bitdefender if your an advanced user.

And also remember that windows is putting its 90% efforts on security updates and
only 10% efforts on other updates.

That's the reason windows update in Windows 10 is made mandatory.

So, if you know a little bit about security systems and mechanisms, it is good to use
Windows Defender (if you don't want to spend money on softwares though ). It also
comes with a lot features.

Pro Tips :

Always install AdBlock in all your browsers. Adblock works virtually as an antivirus
while browsing.

Never open directly and executable files / files downloaded from internet. Go
to VirusTotal, upload your document / file and scan it. VirusTotal scans it with almost
every antivirus software on this Earth. Analyze your report and then decide to open
or not.

Another amazing feature of VirusTotal is that it also scans links. So when ever you
receive a link from others, check the authenticity at VirusTotal and then proceed.

Always scan a pendrive before opening it with file explorer. Disable auto run.

Never share your passwords and never store them in your system or mobile or in any
device which has internet facility.

If you can strictly implement these preventive steps, there is no need to install
antivirus.

All I can say is that I’ve used Malwarebytes Pro for years and I’ve never had an
infection, and Windows Defender has never in all those years caught anything
because Malwarebytes has always caught it first.

I strongly think that Windows Defender probably wouldn’t have caught it even it
Malwarebytes wasn’t catching it.

I’m not a big fan off McAfee I could use it for free if I wanted to and I don’t.

It does slow your computer down and if you're a performance nut like I am that’s a
no-no.
