To Whom it May Concern, October 2019

I am pleased to recommend Himani Sullhan for the position of new graduate nurse. I
had the pleasure of working with Himani during the spring semester of 2019 as a
Clinical Instructor at The University of Arizona College of Nursing in the course
entitled “Acute and Chronic Illness Management II.” This course integrates the
principles of advanced medical and surgical nursing theory, pathophysiology, and
pharmacology into high acuity nursing practice. I supervised this student in a high
acuity, medical/surgical clinical practice setting, including intermediate care and
intensive care units. In addition, I observed Himani actively participating in clinical
development sessions including simulation and lab settings.

Throughout the semester Himani displayed confidence, compassion, and sound

clinical judgement. She was caring towards patients, respectful towards staff, and she
has a personality that is second to none. Himani is the type of new grad nurse that any
manager would be fortunate to have on their unit because she displays high level
critical thinking skills and she is not afraid to ask questions. During our time together,
I enjoyed getting to know Himani and I am confident she is going to be an outstanding
nurse.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you,
