According to Onno W. Purbo (in Prihatna, 2005) explains that the Internet is a medium that is
used to streamline a communication process that is connected with various applications, such as
the Web, VoIP, and E-mail. Since it was first developed in 1969, the internet has developed into a
platform that provides many benefits and opportunities for the wider community. The internet is
not only used as a means of communication and information, but also as an opportunity to
innovate and open a business.

Industry 4.0 is a phenomenon that collaborates with cyber technology and automation
technology. The concept of application is centered on the concept of automation carried out by
technology without requiring human labor in the process of its application. The fourth-generation
Industrial Revolution offers the benefits of a compelling change for the industrial world today.
The benefits regarding the emergence of new business models, inclusive, effectiveness, and
efficiency become a product that is served by the current era of the digital industry. This is
certainly very good when viewed from the production side but not good enough when viewed
from the relationship and its effect on human resources, why is that? The ability of automation to
perform complex tasks is expected to affect human resources in terms of the availability of the
labor sector from the lower levels to the experts.

Based on existing data, it is estimated that in 2030 as many as 400 million to 800 million people
will have to find new jobs because they will be replaced by machines including Indonesia, where
the Minister of Research and Technology, Bambang P.S. Brodjonegoro, trusts McKinsey & Co.'s
research According to him, entering the 4.0 industrial revolution Indonesia will lose 50 million
job opportunities. With this statement, a big question arises in our minds, "Is Indonesia ready to
face these changes? How far have we prepared? And what are the concrete steps we must take to
deal with these changes? ".
Along with these changes, consciously or unconsciously at this time, the Indonesian people are
also required to be able to adapt to technology and have special expertise, especially in the field
of information and communication technology. The community must continue to be able to
increase their creativity and innovation so that they can compete with machines so that people
will not only act as spectators but also be able to become core players of the development of the
industrial world. One of the most effective means of dealing with the goals of change and
development is to utilize an internet platform. With so much data, information and facilities
available through the internet, people can learn and develop their resources independently. Of
course, the community also needs help and guidance from the government, the technology
industries, academics (for example, such as experts, lecturers, and students) to educate, create
awareness of the problems faced in the future, and instill mentality not to be afraid of change.
