1. What is your relationship with this founder?


I have known the Jeetendra Ashok of Express feast since 2016 since
when I was General Manager Sales & Marketing for Southern Health
Foods when we were scouting for products which we can Market Pan
India & later on as an independent consultant. We evaluated their
range in terms of acceptability, suitability & scalability.
In the Process we found Product was well accepted by Millennials as
fitting their need for healthy food in different parts of the world while
travelling or For Home use.
Suitability was the easiest parameter as all of the products were
exactly the same as of Indian pallet. This is a standout point of the
range as you will eat same homely food.
Scalability is faster as millennial’s always on the move & welcome
healthy & homely food in any part of the day & country.
2. Tell us about one trait this Founder has that you think will
contribute towards making them a successful entrepreneur
Jeetendra Ashok and team have always kept the taste & natural ness
of the top two ingredients of their product in offering the third benefit
is Convenience. As being from South Indian Traditional family well
versed in the taste, they have Conducted several checks for
ingredient’s suitability & right method of preparation. As both the
right & ingredient & method are indispensable in getting the right
product. They have ensured naturalness while delivering the product
as their products do not contain MSG, artificial colours, flavoring
agents & use of oil is to the optimum extent.
Convenience is delivered by the product with taste & naturalness as
they have kept domestic & international Travelers, Groups involved in
Trekking, Camping, working professional, home makers & students
living in PGs &Hostels.

3. What are the 1-2 things that you think this Founder should focus
on to develop into a better leader?
Jeetendra Ashok hails from a family of successful entrepreneurs I
should say business leadership is in his blood. In terms of
Improvement if I have to pinpoint
Confidence is one point he should demonstrate in the business as
this is vital ingredient in making company, people & product
successful. Having begun right earnestly as early as 2014-15 should
have gone for Market launch as Proof of Concept was proved within a
year. I would expect him to formulate GTM & go with phased launch
in the third year of operation itself.
Open Mindedness: As in the startup stage one will meet & get lot of
ideas from the market who are experienced in similar field. One
should be able to accept the ideas & move forward to experiment the
idea in small geography evaluate & tweak if necessary.
