Following are some guidelines which are important and will help you a lot during
this course:
Most importantly you have to check 'Announcement Page' daily. Also in case of any
confusion, your first point of contact should be 'Announcement Page' to see whether
that issue is discussed on it or not.
If you have any problem related to current lecture, put your questions
on Moderated Discussion Board (MDB). But before putting any question, please
make it sure that your question is not already posted by some other student. You
should read already replied MDBs of other students as well. If you understand all the material,
discussed in the lecture then no need to put any other extra material on MDB. It is non graded
activity.

University has not any policy to provide you previous midterm and final term paper for exam, so
there is not any link available on vu website. First 22 lectures out of 45 will be included in
your Mid Term exam. The exam will consist approx. 50% of MCQS and 50% of descriptive type
questions. You are required to study with full concentration and do not skip any topic to have
good grades in this course. The paper will consist of multiple choice questions and descriptive
questions of 3 and 5 marks. You will have to watch and study the video lectures, course handouts
and the reference books in order to properly prepare for the exams.
Your final term exam pattern will be same as to mid-term exam (Half Subjective + Half
Objective). MCQs will be of 1 mark each and short questions of 3 and 5 marks will be
included. All lectures from 1 to 45 are included in the final term exam. You have to study all the
lectures from lecture 1 to 45 in order to prepare yourself for the final term exam. However, only
20% will be from first 22 lectures.
