Use Arial 12, A4 size bond paper. Margin (1 inch all sides)
Chapter 1 INTRODUCTION

 Rationale (Provide a background about the origin and the speakers of the language. Provide statistics
on how many people are recorded using the language. Each statement should be supported with an
author and year. Observe as well the recency of the statements at least 2015 and above. Paraphrase
each statement. And there should be at least 4 paragraphs composing minimum of 5 sentences per
paragraph.)
 Purpose of the Study (state the aims and objectives of the study why it was conducted. State as well
the approach used. Should be at least 1 paragraph composing minimum of 5 sentences per paragraph.)
 Research Questions (General questions, What and How questions…Minimum of 1 maximum of Three)
 Review of Related Literature (Cluster the readings base on the important keywords and concepts of
the study. Paraphrase the readings presented. Use transition markers. Avoid one sentence paragraphs.
Inset citation “….Robins (2013)…” should be at the last part of the paragraph “…(Robins, 2013).” Use
inventory “….(Chakraborty and Daz, 2005; Doepke, 2006; Lopez-Calva, 2001; Zimmerman, 2007)..”

 Theoretical Lens (Theory, Proposition, Concept, Result of a Study…. that served as the basis in
conducting the qualitative study. Note: it is only a working theory, this may change as results of the study
will come in and deviates with the course of the research. Give your justification why the theory was
chosen. Should be three paragraphs composing minimum of 5 sentences per paragraph. The older the
year the better…)
 Significance of the Study (Introductory statement should be on “how relevant is the study to the
discipline” In paragraph format, should be personalized)
Chapter 2 METHODOLOGY

 Research Design (Should be with authors. Give justification why the approach was used. Identify the
Approach applied in qualitative research. It should be at least 2 paragraphs composing minimum of 5
sentences per paragraph.)
 Role of the Researchers (Establish the roles played in the research. Give statements with authority.
Should be personalized. Should be at least 1 paragraph composing minimum of 5 sentences per
paragraph.)
 Research Materials (State the materials used in this study like newspapers, dictionaries of ethnic
groups, literature of ethnic groups and the likes. Should be at least 1 paragraph composing minimum of
5 sentences per paragraph.)
 Data Collection (Personalized the discussion for the data collection. Use authors to support some
statements. Identify the steps done using transition markers

March 12, 2019 – 1st submission of the research output for checking. It must have already the Chapters 1-4.
March 18, 2019 – 2nd submission of the research output for follow-up checking. Corrections should already
have incorporated.
March 22, 2019 – Oral Presentation of the Outputs.
