NARRATIVE REPORT
PNHS OFF-CAMPUS EDUCATIONAL TOUR
February 22, 2018
Parada National High School held its Off-Campus Educational Tour last February 22,
Thursday at around 5 o’clock in the morning. 17 buses were bound to visit the following
destinations: Art in Island in Quezon City, Museo ng Katipunan in San Juan and Enchanted
Kingdom in Laguna.
Our bus, Bus #11 carried 44 Grade 9 students from the sections of Joshua (6), Job (13),
Isaiah (10), Mark (6), Daniel (5) and Matthew (2) plus a student chaperone(1) . There were 4
teachers-in-charged with specific task: Mr. Glenn Erick B. Catiis as the teacher-leader, Ms.
Camille P. Casquejo, she was with her daughter (1) acted as the teacher-first-aider, Mrs.
Josephine M. Maximo as the teacher-photographer and yours truly as the teacher-secretary. The
same day we met Mrs. Joy Myla Chua who served as our well-versed tour-guide and Kuya JR as
the coach-driver.
For our first stop, students and teachers were given an hour to enjoy the 3D art paintings
made by 18 Korean master painters in Art in Island 3D Museum. Everyone posed creatively so
they became part of the 200 masterpieces of art. A short 3D presentation showing God’s creation
mesmerized the viewers. By 9 o’clock in the morning, our bus was already heading towards
Museo ng Katipunan in San Juan. Field trip goers were given a short background of the museum,
which is the first and only museum specifically built to showcase the contributions of KKK. A
biography of Gat Andres Bonifacio was also provided to increase the students’ familiarity of
Katipunan’s supremo. The second floor of the museum showcased the interesting stories of the
Katipuneros and their era in our history.
Our group had a stopover for lunch in NLEX Caltex gas station and at around 2 o’clock
in the afternoon we were at our final destination which was Enchanted Kingdom, the very
famous theme park situated in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. The students were given enough time to have
fun and roam around the 25-hectare park and experience the different rides and attractions.
Everybody headed back to the bus by 6:45pm.
Our group went back safely in front of Parada’s parish church at around 10:30pm.
Teachers-in-charged made sure that students were fetched by their parents.

This concerned citizen we tagged as our “Good Samaritan” led as the right
direction after being lost going to Art in Island.
This crowd of field trip joiners included our students from Parada National High
School.
Another photo opportunity upon our arrival at Museo ng Katipunan in San Juan.
Students went upstair to check out the weapons, clothes, and other things used
