Printing from a computer running Mac OS X10.6 to

the IC-304 Print Controller 2.1
The following limitations exist when you print a job from a computer running Mac OS X version 10.6 to the
IC-304 print controller using the Print Driver software:
 Rosetta should be installed and running on the Mac computer
 64-bit applications on a 64 bit Mac computer—for example, TextEdit software—must be changed to
run in 32-bit mode

To resolve these limitations, a new Print Driver installer was created. Use this new installer (Mac_10.6-
IC304V2_1_ColorServerPrintDriverInstaller.dmg), when you want to print from a Mac computer, 64 bit, or
32 bit client to the IC-304 print controller.

Note: The Mac_10.6-IC304V2_1_ColorServerPrintDriverInstaller file is not installed automatically on the

IC-304 print controller. Copy the new file to your IC-304 print controller Utilities\Mac Utilities folder.

This document describes how to:

 Install the Print Driver software on a Mac computer.
 Define a printer with the Print Driver software on a Mac computer.
 Print from a Mac computer using the Print Driver software.
 Uninstall the Print Driver software on a Mac computer.
