About Police Expo

The Police have two main roles to play: crime investigation and crime
prevention. The policemen's job is thus to enforce laws that protect people
and property of any country.

International Police Expo has been conceptualized to present a single,

specialized and dedicated platform for the technology developers, suppliers
and users. It will abridge the time between identification of right and latest
product for the force personnel according to their time to time
requirements. Through expo, the end user, i.e. Police and other force
personnel, will be able to witness the working and utility. It will also enable
the key decision making officers to identify the required product and
technologies to combat the various situations, investigate cases and to
accomplish assignments provided to them along with the Cop Security idea
in mind.

The International Police Expo 2019 is focused on everything about the

police & other forces, their welfare and fitness as well as showcase on
latest and modern equipments, technologies and inputs required for safety
and protection of society, law enforcement, rescue, disaster management
and all other necessities of Police and other armed forces for their day to
day life and other operations as well.

A Conference will also be integral part of the show where like-minded

 India is heavily upgrading forces buying Modern Weapons, Ammunition, Rifles, Sniper Rifles,
Communication, Missile Systems, Warning and Radar Systems etc.
 "The Government of India, allocated Rs 4,31,011crore (US$ 60 billion) to the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
Of the MoD's total allocation, Rs 3,01,866crore ($42.7 billion) with special emphasis on improving border
infrastructure, Army, Naval & Air Force Modernization.
 The Government of India further allocated Rs 1.03 Lakh Crore ( Approx 14.5 Billion USD) which is 4.9 per
cent more than last year for Modernization of Police, Central Armed Paramilitary Forces & Special Forces
and Critical Infrastructure
 Government has also launched various initiative like Make in India, Digital India, Smart Cities with the
primary goal of making India a global manufacturing hub, by encouraging both multinational as well as
domestic companies to manufacture & supply their products.
 Indian Government has developed two large defence Industrial corridors in its two states Uttar Pradesh &
Tamil Nadu. The purpose of the corridor to encourage Micro Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) to
work closely with PSUs for defence indigenisation.
 FDI up to 100 per cent is permitted in Defence sector
