Training Progress Week - 1

Date : 14/1/2013 – 18/1/2013


Activity :

 In my first week at work, I have introduced


myself to Mountbayu Sdn Bhd staff, to supervisors
and managers. I was told I was to undergo internship.
For my second year in college. Supervisor introduced
me to all staff. I was briefed on the scope of work that
I will do during the process of internship.
 Given a briefing about the company. What scope
of job and task given by the company. The Supervisor
also take us a short brief look around the in the
company building.
 I have been given guidance on how to key in data
entry for a project. I am using Microsoft Excel and
Microsoft Word. I entered all the data required by
clients. Here I was able to learn how to store vital
data and useful in the future.
Training Progress Week - 2
Date : 21/1/2013 – 25/1/2013

Activity :

 Learning how to do Microsoft Excel formula.


Microsoft Excel formula used in the process of data entry.
So when I do the process of storing data and entering data
I would use the formula to facilitate key in any data. This
way and formula have been taught by my supervisor. He
want me to learn and taught the easy way when to do data
entry. In this process I can learn new things and will be
useful in the future.
 I also had been assist how to maintaining files and
databases. Supervisor taught me the way to organized
collection of data. The data is typically organized to
relevant aspects. The utilization of databases is now spread
to such a wide degree that virtually every technology and
product relies on databases.
 The supervisor assist me how to prepare report,
correspondence and template. He construct how to make a
report after construction site visit, During the site visit,
we were exposed to various construction methods,
machineries and also had the chance to observe the
construction of pump station.
Training Progress Week - 3
Date: 28/01/2013 – 1/2/2013

Activity :

 Supervisor helps me how to write a Letter of Award.


This letter is the of confirmation to show that the place is
undertaken by our company.
 Supervisor insist to taught me how make a template.

Template consist of all project location had been done by


the company. We also need to key in and calculate total
profit and company loss.
 The supervisor also gave ways to track construction

supply inventory in and out and how to approve supply


orders.
 All project proposal requirement are been handled by
me that I arranged the document in files store. All file I
managed according to alphabet orders.
 The supervisor told me that I have the ability to learned

in multitasking and meet changing deadlines


Training Progress Week - 4
Date : 4/02/2013 – 8/02/2013

Activity :
 This week I had learned new experience. I followed
my supervisor to attend a meeting and meet clients at
construction site about the project been held.
 My supervisor teach me how to handle a meeting with
clients. Before the meeting, I need to prepare some
documents and proposal that I need to present with my
supervisor.
 In the meeting environment, I learned many things
that can be useful in my career.
Training Progress Week - 6
Date : 18/02/2-13 -22/02/2013

Activity :

 I went to construction site with my supervisor to


learned and watched what kind of job and task that had in
construction site. What I learned is driveway construction
method.
 The contractor shall provide all labor, materials and
equipment necessary to construct one asphalt driveway at
the pump station as shown on the detailed drawings.
 I had met with the workers and the contractor
discussed about the work on site.
 I also handled a problem on site such as gas pipe
leaking, upgrading the pump station to called the
contractor to repair or upgrading the pump station.
 Arranged the equipment requirement on site manage
the delivery schedule on time.
Traning Progress Week - 7
Date : 25/02/2013 - 1/03/2013

Activity :

 In this week I work at office. I maintain and update


filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either
manually or using a computer.
 I’ve operate office machines, such as photocopiers and
scanners to make a duplicate file, facsimile machines to
sent letter to other organization, and make report on
personal computers.
 Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office
activities, business transactions, and other
activities. Check all the mail bills, contracts, policies,
invoices to prevent a complained such as unpaid bills,
reply letter form other organization.
 Complete work schedules, manage calendars and
arrange appointments for my supervisor.
Training Progress Week - 8
Date :4 /03/2013- 8/03/2013

Activity :
 This is my last week for internship progress .
 I’m so happy becaused I had learned so many things
and experienced in this new field of work.
