1. “Standard value” is the pressure value which is set in a new machine in the factory.
2. “Rebuild value” is the target pressure value which should be secured in a machine when hydraulic components are
rebuilt or remanufactured.
3. “Service limit value” is the pressure value required to obtain at least the proper basic machine performance level.
Component inspection for wear or failure, and/or pressure adjustment, should be carried out when the measured
pressure value does not meet the “Service limit value tolerances”.
4. Main and port relief pressures are easily influenced by the factors below in number 5, therefore pressure measuring
condition should be strictly kept and pressure should not be adjusted unnecessarily when a measured pressure on a
machine in the field, is within the tolerance range in the above table.
5. Main and port relief pressures which are measured in a field machine could be different from the values that are
measured in the bench tool because of the following reasons,

¡ back pressure (especially in swing relief pressure)

¡ pressure drop in the piping work (especially in travel relief pressure)
¡ flow rate and hydraulic oil temperature
¡ measuring tools (gauge error, etc)

NOTE!
Do not set pressures at the upper limit of Service Limit Tolerance.
