    Project - Factoring Brochure

    Factoring Brochure Project DUE: MARCH 26, 2018

    Your Role: To create a brochure to serve as a guide to factoring polynomials

    Directions: You can fold your poster/construction paper into two sections and a cover.

    Design a cover on the front section.

    You will make a tutorial for two of the following topics:

    Greatest Common Factor (GCF)

    Difference of Two Perfect Squares (DOTS) - [ ]

    Trinomials (1 AM) – [ ]

    Trinomials (Slip and Slide) – [ ] – a is greater than 1

    For each topic you must include the following:

    A title for the factoring method

    An explanation of the factoring method:


     How do you know when to use the method?
     What are the steps to use the method?

    Show an example of a problem and factor it using the method you chose.

    BONUS EXTRA CREDIT


     Show an example that includes a GCF first and then the factoring method.

    Your final product must be NEAT, ORGANIZED, ACCURATE, &


    ATTRACTIVE to the reader! (COLORFUL)
