Company Summary
A. Company background
The business is founded by our Group, and the idea was to give a known premium,
delicious, healthy and affordable Hot Pandesal. There are lots of products to be sell but,
we choose Hot Pandesal as what Filipinos favorite.
4
The ingredients of the JARD Hot Pandesal product were bought from JIK
Marketing Butuan City and BOSTAN.
C. Marketing Methods
The daily sale volume in Php is 3000. Each Hot Pandesal was sold at a price of Php2.00
each. Since there is no bakery shop or there’s no one selling a Hot Pandesal in P8
Ambago Butuan City, we are comfortable that our product will sell easily. What we should
to do is to entertain our customers in good manners so that they are comfortable also to
be with us for the success of our business.
The current members of JARD Hot Pandesal business that were composed of 4
members. The management responsibilities were divided among the member’s ability.
For savings, only 2 of us go in the Langihan to bought the ingredients.while the others,
they were going to prepare the equipment’s that we are going to use, all of the group
helped in the production of the JARD Hot Pandesal business.
The leader acts as the financial officer. The profit would be divided equally among the
three members and would stand as their salary for the selling of the delicious and healthy
Hot Pandesal. The management team were all works hard to make this business be
successful. The management team will know how to make or manage the small business
successful. More so, this would not be successful without the member’s cooperation who
supported financially.

E. Ownership Structure
The primary stakeholders of the JARD Hot Pandesal are the four members
who contributed equally to reach the estimated capital to produce the product aimed
to be made. Each member holds liability in the business’s success or failure.
F. Social Responsibility
Our business follows the BARANGAY policies and the exact way of handling
the products and not just on preparing it but also throughout the selling period. We
use plastic gloves for cooking, hairnet and aprons in transferring the products from
the original manufacturing package. Our trashes were thrown on the right places and
we make sure that our products were well preserved to avoid any contamination.
G. Internal Analysis
Our business will start from a capital of Php 50,000.00, we will loan at bank of
BDO. This will be divided upon the equipment, location/space and the
ingredients. Our calculation with a month that would exceed Php 91,300.00. In
that first profit we will get the Php70,500 to paid our loan at BDO, the rental
space, salary each one of us and the other income should be turnaround to
make our business expand.
6
Moreover, Hot Pandesal is a kind of product that would surely like everyone. In order
to strengthen this core competency, the management will sell the product not only in P8
Ambago Butuan City but also we will sell to the other place through delivering in other
places. It would help expand the name of the product and its flexibility of business model
allows it to expand in the future when continued and quick adaptation on external forces.
The following things listed below were the things that we need to build on.
Knowledge and work. We need more knowledge on running the business we
have started in order for it to continue and working on its expansion once
continued must be built with.
Financial Position. The members who stand as the stakeholders must have a
fair share of money contribution and effort on producing and selling.
Location. The location of selling must not just be on the P8 Ambago. To
introduce and to gain more customers we probably must reach on other places.
Resources. The availability of the bought products might be unstable especially
when there are also lots of consumers who would buy on the other vendors that
suit their taste.
In times today, food products should be innovated to match the taste of the new
consumers. The more attractive it is and one of a kind on their eyes the more your product
or services would gather positive outcomes. We guarantee that Filipinos will love our product,
especially it is one of their favorite.
The product we are planning to sell is the best choice for partners of your coffee every
morning and for your snack every afternoon that is already known to Filipinos. It is just a
simple bread, but this time we plan to give it a twist. The Hot Pandesal we plan to sell will be
have a topping for the sake of people who really wants toppings in their Pandesal and the
other just plain Hot Pandesal for the sake of people who wants is to make “saw-saw” their
Pandesal in their hot coffee. We made it that way so the consumers could choose what they
like to taste and to give a difference on the usual Pandesal. When it comes with the quality,
our Hot Pandesal are made with good quality products and were trusted on the food industry
and everyday new. We will not allow that the left Pandesal that we fail to sell that day will we
sell again tomorrow. Likewise, on the price of the product it is affordable so everyone could
buy. On the location of selling, the P8 Ambago is the best location because no bakery there
7
in or even small space that selling a Hot Pandesal and for us this is a good place to start the
business running.
Market Assessment
The market characterization of this business started with its flexible characteristics
whereas it there could be a huge or small of production depending on the business
head start. Since the business will be opened at the P8 Ambago were the quantity of
costumers is unlimited, the need of the producers of the product must be a good
encourager and respectful to the consumers. The three forces model helps the
business find its weaknesses and strengths with its competitors so that the internal
and external environment shall not fail. And putting the forces as bases, our strong
competitors were those businesses where they also sell unique and have a good
quality product.
The opportunities
The threats
Competition among fellow competitors.
There are times that people buy loaf bread than Pandesal. Likewise, more enhanced
production of the Pandesal might appear on public if the Hot Pandesal goes on trend
causing hordes of competitors with the same or new products. But although the threat is
visible the Hot Pandesal are still a one of a kind product currently in the Filipinos taste.
B. Customers Analysis
C. Industry Analysis
One of the main objectives of the analysis is to identify the degree of the industry
activity and attractions to competitors which determines the return that participants are able
to obtain in a long term investment. Another one is to understand the industry’s structure and
how it will develop. To achieve the objective, the analysis needs to be guided by a strategic
method with opportunities, threats and trends. Therefore, the elements included in the
industry analysis are industry size, industry growth, industry structure and industry trends
(Aaker 1988)
D. Strategic Alternatives
9
Strategic Implementation
A. Production
In order to produce the product, all members contributed money, equipment’s and
effort. The value we have created and captured with our product is the creativity of the
individual and brainstorming to reach such idea. When it comes with our competitive
advantage, our product is timely and affordable to everyone. The processes of producing the
Hot Pandesal are to buy the alternative ingredients product first on the JIK Marketing and
then turn it as our own product.
B. Resources needs
Hot Pandesal used human sources who gives efforts, perseverance, and patience on
selling the product. For financial resources the level it needs is more or less Php50,000.00
while on the type of quality and quantity the business used 15kls of flour, Salt, eggs, milk
and vanilla. The prices were not too expensive but the management guarantees its
premium quality.
C. Sourcing/Procurement Strategy
We base our decision on buying the products we will use through its price since the capital
is limited, however we made sure that the quality of the food product we will sell is on its ace
mark. In addition, the ingredients we needed were commonly available in the local market.
D. Marketing Strategy
The plan sale of our management is to sell the product during morning and afternoon
since it is the appropriate time of people would likely to buy. We must sell it in public
emphasizing the uniqueness of the product. The business used an open market since it
is more convenient. We do have a preferred outlet but it depends on the selling
performance on a day. We will price the product according to our capital if we will gain the
money or not and the said reasons would follow below:
10
E. Performance Standards
The performance standard used to monitor the income is the performance of the product
income. The accepted performance is when the product could perform well on the market.
The president/leader is the one who is responsible for monitoring the performance of each
member. The industry benchmark uses to assess the performance is sale performance of the
product itself.
Financial Plan
A. Financial Projections
We fund the business through loaning at bank BDO and after one month we will paid
them. And we manage the financial risk for the business faces for budgeting and contribution.
The important assumption that underlies projections is to gain back the capital. More so, the
weaknesses of the business shall be turned to as strength. Our product is flexible in the society
and in the financial aspect of our business is asset growth, to know or to determine if our business
gained something or not. The procedures that we use for monitoring over all business
performance are that we were looking if how much our capital have grown and earned in a day
we sell the product. The yield and the output level that we attained is the maintaining of supply
production size.
The table below shows the financial that were going to fulfil every month:
REVENUE EXPENSES
LOAN RENTAL SPACE
FOOD TRANSPORTATION
ELECTRICITY
WATER
11
B. Contingency Plan
If we cannot follow the primary plan, we should proceed to the other plan or also called
‘’Plan B’’ We must brainstorm and giving feedback on the product what would be the
possibility of plan A failing so that we could have an idea of alternative plan in case things
won’t work according to what was expected that even one of the management team fails to
perform the business would still run as planned.
