An implementation plan for control and monitoring of identified risk/s 250

Risk identification on a regular basis is an important aspect to ensure workplace safety is properly
being implemented. Because these risk factors can become safety concerns over the course of time.
WHS policy guidelines ensures that employees are safe from work related injuries and any health
risks due to hazards while they are undertaking their duties. Therefore, in order to implement the
control and monitoring of the identified risk factors, following plan can be used.
● Identification and evaluation of risks across the organisation
● Proper control and management of factors that can be a root cause for risk
● Ensuring that potential threats are identified by the organisation beforehand
● Store staff members should be aware about their roles and responsibilities
● External audit of safety and risk mitigation needs to be conducted
● Regular reporting activities based on regular risk identification review needs to be
conducted
These aforementioned factors need to be implemented by the organisation in order to facilitate a
proper control and monitoring plan. Implementation of these recommended plan will ensure that
WHS safety standards are being followed and mitigation of risk factors are being undertaken by
the employer. This is why implementation of risk mitigation plan is necessary in order to control
and monitor any work related safety risks identified by the concerned parties.
Completed records of risk treatment (completed as per recordkeeping procedures).250
Risk treatment procedures are not only limited to the identification of risk factors and mitigation
of them. This procedure also requires to manage a record keeping of the risks as well.
Recordkeeping system ensures that system is meeting all the operational and strategic
requirements and also safety training related records are being stored as well. Furthermore,
recordkeeping is also necessary to meet the legislative requirements of the Privacy Act 1988 and
Anti-discrimination Act 1977.
A proper recordkeeping procedure requires all the open and transparent management of the
employee information is being maintained. Also, organisation also needs to make sure that
anonymity is also being maintained, as well as collection of solicited personal information is also
being maintained. Because, personal information should not be collected unless it is necessary for
the Australian Hardware Ltd's business activities. Also, while personal information is being
collected, employees needs to be informed about such action beforehand. Furthermore, the security
of any personal information taken also needs to be ensured by the company because any
unauthorised access or misuse can bring legislative actions. Also, any records or risk treatment
related records needs to be backed up at secondary storages. In case of loss of primary source,
these data will be accessible by the organisation. These are the recordkeeping procedures that need
to be adhered while keeping records of risk treatment.
