of FM 200 System at DCS Room, Power Plant

1. Scope of Work:

Refilling of 2 Number of Fike Clean Agent Suppression System of make FE 227 Cylinder water capacity 34
litre, Tare Weight 47Kg along with Master and Slave Actuator along with rupture disc and commission the
System and to be kept System online.

2. System Description:
For DCS Cabinet in Power Plant of KRIBHCO, cabinets are protected by FM 200 system of Fike make Clean
Agent Suppression System for Fire Safety Measures. It consists of 2 Number of FE227 gas filled Cylinder
with having water capacity of 34 Litre each and tare weight of 47kg each. One number of Master Actuator
(Cartridge type) along with rupture disc and One number of Slave actuator (Cartridge type) with rupture disc.
The system is connected with Fire Control Panel, Solenoid Valve and Fire Detectors for DCS Cabinet Fire.
 Master Actuator and Slave Actuator filled with nitrogen of 2350-2640 psi having suitable threads
compatible with pneumatic actuator.

3. General Terms and Condition

3.1 Vendor has to dismantle the 2 number of F227 water capacity 34 litre along with Master and Slave
Actuator and tare weight of cylinder is 47 Kg each to be removed and take it for refilling to their refilling
 station (at Vendor’s Place) with returnable gate Pass from KRIBHCO.
3.2 Cylinder shall be collected 1(one) week from date of receipt of intimation from KRIBHCO. After filling
the cylinder, it shall be delivered at earliest from the date of collection of empty cylinders. In the event
of failure of the contractor to deliver the material with in the contracted delivery period KRIBHCO
reserves the right to procure material from alternate sources and in such case any additional financial
implication shall be on the contractors account.
3.3 The cylinders shall be collected from Power Plant (DCS Room) of KRIBHCO and delivered to at
KRIBHCO for installation and commissioning the system which is included in the scope of the bidder.
Fright & insurance towards collection of empty cylinders with valve from KRIBHCO site as well as
towards delivery of refilled cylinders to KRIBHCO site shall be indicated separately.
3.4 The rates shall include the charges for refilling, painting, labelling, & hydrostatic stretch testing as per
standard gas refilling rules & pressurizing with dry nitrogen at no extra cost.
3.5 Bidder shall install filled cylinder along with master & slave actuators in our DCS fire suppression
system of power plant. The leaking flanges shall be attended during commission of the system.
3.6 Cylinder surface shall be painted with post office red colour.
3.7 Vendor shall visit the site along with the material and install in the system of DCS panel of Power
Plant.
3.8 Vendor shall depute qualified Engineer for commission the system.
3.9 Any leakage of clean agents during commissioning or system malfunctioning, refilling of Clean Agent
shall be in scope of Vendor.
4. Documentation: The following documents to be submitted by vendors
4.1 CCOE approved certificate for refilling
4.2 Vendor shall give a certificate for purity of FE-227 gas along with filled cylinders.
4.3 Hydro test Certificate of 2 no of FE 227 filled Cylinder
4.4 Guarantee certificate of free from defects in material’s workmanship under normal use and service
for 12 months from date of commissioning the system
4.5 Delivery challan
4.6 HFC 227ea(FE227) Filling and Inspection Certificates
4.7 Testing and Simulation testing Certificate by Vendors
