LESSON PLAN LESSON: what each part of plant does

SKILLS AND UNDERSTANDING

Students will be able to:

 Identify what each part of plant does

Link to prior learning: before we learned about What do plants need to grow, now we will learn what each
parts of plant do.

Key vocabulary:

Flower: This part makes seeds.

Leaf : This part makes food for the plant.

Stem: This part carries food and water through the plant and holds the plant up.

Root: This part soaks up water from the soil to the plant and holds it in the ground.
