Abstract
The researchers came up to the study about the “The Ways on How to
Improve the Reading Comprehension of Junior High School Students at Saint
Claire Academy Lian, Batangas, Inc. S.Y. 2019 – 2020” with the aim of informing
every to the effects of this to all students.
This study made used of the descriptive method which is design for the
researchers to gather information about the “The Ways on How to Improve the
Reading Comprehension of Junior High School Students at Saint Claire
Academy Lian, Batangas, Inc. S.Y. 2019 – 2020”
The researchers used survey questionnaire as a vital tool to obtain the
accurate information of the “The Ways on How to Improve the Reading
Comprehension of Junior High School Students at Saint Claire Academy Lian,
Batangas, Inc. S.Y. 2019 – 2020”. The researchers gathered information
applicable to the stated problems.
The findings include that majorty of the respondent’s poor vision is the
causesof reading problem to the students. Respondents claimed that the lack of
attention is a students struggle with reading. Most of the respondents said that is
able to coped up with reading problem, they will borrow book from the
library.Most of the respondents said that they can deliver and understand.The
level of writing of the respondents is they can write their own poem. And the level
of understanding ofthe respondents is they can understand and deliver a story in
front of class. The researchers recommend as a guide that the faculty members
may have some activities that helps to improve the reading skills of the students
in Junior High School.
Based on the results, this study may serve as a guide for the faculty and
students to their studies related to the study that serve as a guide for future
researchers considering The Ways on How the Students Improve The Reading
Comprehension of Junior High School student in Saint Claire Academy in the
next school year.
