How to buy FUEL Tokens using MyEtherWallet

Disclaimer: This is document is only meant to serve as a tool to guide you through the purchase of
FUEL tokens. We are not responsible for any loss and cannot guarantee that the services listed
below will work as intended.

Prerequisites:
To follow this guide, you will need:
1) Have a web browser
2) Hold a certain amount of ether in the account that you control. ​ONLY ETHER WILL BE
ACCEPTED. ​Do not send any other cryptocurrency to the addresses mentioned in this
article

Getting Started
Step 1: Creating an account
First navigate to ​https://www.myetherwallet.com/​.

Once that is done, generate a wallet by following the directions given by the website. Enter a
password and hit “Create New Wallet.”

Step 2: Save your wallet!

This is a very important step. Make sure to save the wallet file and to keep a backup of it​. ​If your
wallet data is lost, all of the ether/tokens locked inside will be gone forever.
Step 3: Viewing Wallet Info
To be able to view your wallet information, click on the “View Wallet Info” tab. Here you will need
to add the JSON keystore file that you just created.

Unlock your account and you should arrive at an account information page.
Step 4: Getting Ether
To be able to participate in the ICO, you will need to have some ether (ETH) in an account that you
control.
You can buy ETH from different exchanges using a plethora of currencies. Note: just like in Bitcoin,
there are transaction fees associated to every transaction. So sending 1 ether will not exactly give
you back the amount of tokens that you expect, it will be slightly less.
WARNING: Do not send ether directly from an exchange. It is possible that you will lose those
tokens. We suggest buying ether on exchanges, and sending that ether over to your own privately
controlled account.

Step 5: Buying FUEL Tokens

Start date for the presale is August 10th. The crowdsale starts on September 4th. Verify you are
sending to the correct ethereum address based on these dates.
To buy FUEL tokens, send Ether to ethereum address that we give you on the site using your
MyEtherWallet. Here is the full process:
On Step One here, enter your MyEtherWallet address we set up earlier in the “ERC20 Compatible
Receiving Address” input, and the amount of Ether you would like to contribute.

If the form is properly filled out, you can now click “CONTINUE TO STEP 2”. You should see the
following screen:
Now back to MyEtherWallet, and send a transaction to the ethereum address under the QR code on
this page.

Input the keystore file that you just created in the last step, and unlock it with your password. The
transaction page will appear.
Fill out the “To Address” with the address that sends “Send ETH to this address” from the FUEL ICO
page, and the “Amount to Send” with the amount you specified on the FUEL ICO page.

Click “Generate Transaction”.

Verify you have all of the information correct, and then click “Send Transaction”. Then head back to
the FUEL presale page, locate the “I HAVE SENT ETHER” button, and click it.

You’ll be taken the final step before completion, where we wait for the confirmations on the
blockchain. This should take several minutes as mining will have to occur.

We will wait for 3 confirmations to ensure the transaction has gone through.
