The University pattern of examination varies as per type of programme. For UG and PG programmes,
there are semester end examinations; and for Diploma programmes there are annual examinations. The
examinations are held twice in a year in the month of Nov./Dec (winter session) and in May/June
(summer session). The exact dates, schedule of examinations and fees are notified by the University well
in advance. Due weightage is given to home assignments, tutorials and project work. The medium for
curricular transactions and examination is English.
1. It is mandatory on the part of the students to appear for all examinations, assignments, Lab
pratical, projects, field work as prescribed for the programme for which they have enrolled.
2. Students who have not submitted required eligibility documents, fees etc. at the time of
admission, will not be allowed to appear for examinations or will not get marks statement(s) /
result(s) till the time they comply with all the requirements.
3. Examinations fees are not included in the programme fees and have to be paid for each
examination attempt along with the examination form, from time to time.
5. If the Examination form is not filled by the individual students and mistake remains in the
examination form no corrections will be made at a later stage.
The details, such as rules of passing, award of class etc. have been incorporated in the concerned
Programme Book.
Note : Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) is School of Distance Education will not
be responsible for overlaps in examination Time – Table if a student opts for a degree and a
diploma programme simultaneously.
1. Identity Card and Hall Ticket is compulsory while appearing for the Examination Hall.
2. Make sure that you are not in possession of any material such as books, note–books, scribbled
note which may tempt you to copy OR use as a reminder.
4. DO NOT take away the answer-book or supplement while leaving the Examination Hall.
5. No Mobile phones should be carried in the class-rooms. Mobile phones in possession of the
students will be confiscated.
6. DO NOT communicate in any way with other candidates in the Examination Hall
7. DO NOT disobey the instructions(s) issued to you by the Senior - Junior Supervisor.
Failure to follow the instructions, any misconduct or breach of rules will result in Expelling the
candidate from the candidate from the College / Institute or University for a specified period
or permanently.
