A  signature  is  one  of  the  most  important  elements  on  an  agreement.    Most  
instruments  are  not  agreements.    There  is  usually  only  one  signature.    There  is  no  
meeting  of  the  minds.    The  consideration  is  there,  but  usually  not  what  the  signer  
thinks  or  believes  it  is.    For  certain  there  is  not  mutuality  of  contract.  
 
But  remember  this,  how  the  signature  is  placed  on  the  page,  where  the  signature  is  
places,  who  places  the  signature,  and  when  the  signature  is  placed,  the  day  and  the  
time  of  day  are  critical.    One  last  note…how  the  signature  is  protected  and  who  is  
given  notice  of  all  of  the  above  will  assure  a  successful  signature  experience  and  
result.
