Nestle Malaysia Berhad is Malaysia-based nutrition, health and wellness company and an

investment holding company. It is one of the 30 largest companies on the Bursa Malaysia by
market capitalization that meet the eligibility requirements of the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Index
Ground Rules. Nestle Malaysia Berhad stock price have been declined during our trading and
it is one of the most unprofitable trades for our group.
Based on The Star Online (Wed,13th March 2019) titled “Bursa Malaysia is Asia’s only
loser of 2019” said the FKLCI has decreased 75 points or 4.51% since the beginning of 2019
due to 14th general election last May. The trend is unlikely to change as investors wait for
Malaysian government initiatives to cut the budget deficit, clamp down on corruption and boost
purchasing power.

Moreover, consumption is weak, profit under pressure, consumers stock diversified is


the mainly reason of share price decrease during September to October. Malaysian inflation
has risen since June, which has made consumer sentiment even worse. Hence, Nestle Malaysia
Berhad has recorded a decline in its net profit of 5.6% year-on-year to RM156.89mil for the
second quarter ended June stated in The Star Online (Wed, 28th August 2019).
Technical Analysis method, Nestle Malaysia Berhad shows declining price trendline.
Historically, the share price for this stock has been maintained in the range from RM100 to
RM150 from January 2019 until current. It has volatility of share prices. In the beginning of
year 2019, the stock price of this company shows declining bit by bit.
