EHSAAS Undergraduate Scholarship Program

It is to inform all the undergraduate level students that under the supervision of Higher
Education Commission, Govt of Pakistan has initiated EHSAAS Undergraduate Scholarship
Program to create opportunities for a sizeable segment of youth belonging to the financially
disadvandated households to bring them under the net of higher education and create equal
education opportunities for all. The priority of Govt is to work on such programs which give
impetus to the access and equity, especially gender equality for a quality higher education
relevant to the economic and social needs of the country.

Objectives:
1. Ehsas Undergraduate Scholarship Program focuses on the most critical segment,
namely the 4-year undergraduate programs, which contribute the most to income
potential.
2. Scholarship covers tuition fee and stipend through four – five years of degree duration.
3. Scholarship is available in all major fields of education including agriculture, arts and
humanities, business education, engineering, medical, physical sciences and social
sciences.
4. The project aims to support female education, therefore 50% of scholarships are
reserved for the females.
5. To encourage physically challenged students, 2% of the scholarships are reserved for
them.

Eligibility:
1. Students who are currently enrolled in Undergraduate level degree programs.
2. Candidates who have secured admission on merit; Merit means that the student has
fulfilled admission criteria of the respective university in which he / she intends to
study.
3. Age limit will be followed as per university regulations i.e. maximum age under which
an applicant is allowed to take admission for offered Undergraduate programs at the
university.
4. Students already availing any other scholarship or grant are ineligible.

How to Apply:
Step 1: All students are required to apply through following HEC Online Application System:
https://ehsaas.hec.gov.pk/
Step 2: Take print out of the application and attach all supporting documents
Step 3: Submit the Application Form along with all required Supporting Documents at Grants
Office of the Institute.
Last Date of Online and Hard Copy of Application Submission is 10th December, 2019
