Students will be able to:

• Students are learning where animals live and how they use their habitats.
Link to prior learning: Students will need to be familiar with Animal classifications, and what's the
need to survive.
21st Century Skills: Students will be able to enhance the following skills : (1) Critical thinking and
problem solving, (2) Communication and collaboration, (3) Initiative and self-direction, (4)
productivity and accountability.

Key vocabulary: Habitat, desert, jungle, ocean, grassland, wetlands.

Resources & Time Starter (10 minutes)

In this lesson teacher will review what they toke last 3 lessons.
Book Teacher will competition between the groups. She will say I am going
to ask you questions, first dices with your group than rise your flag, if
you answer correctly, I will give you one point for each answer.
Teacher will ask some questions to check their understanding.
Where does lions live?
• Why the lions live there?
• What they eat?
• What does grassland look like?
• What animals can you put in grassland? and why?
• What type of animals do you think life in desert?
• What you will found in forest?
• Where will be more animals in forest or desert? and why?
• Can I put a griffe in desert?
• Forge is mammal or amphibians? Ware the frog live?
• Give me one example for reptiles?

Group who collect a lot point they will be the wiener.


Resources & Time Main activities (30 minutes)

Students will work in science book with teacher, teacher will open the
science book to the board and answer the question with the students.
Book
First question: ocean, fish for example Shark, Tune
and marine plants live in ocean.

Second question: Habitat, desert, jungle, ocean,


grassland, wetlands.

Third question: in their they have everything they


need, for example, food, water, shelters.

Some habitat very hot like a desert, and some


habitat very cold like Pole, and some of them
warm like a Jungle.


Habitats: is a place where plants and animals
live.

Types of habitats: desert, jungle, ocean,


grassland, wetlands.

1-different areas, different weather, habitat are


adapted to cope with the conditions around them.
2-Plants are producer, animals need plant for
food.13- In a habitat, animals can find the food,
homes, and water they need to live. Plants need
soil, rain, sunlight, and animals in their habitats

to live.

First teacher will list to students answers, than write the answer in the
board.

Resources Plenary (5 minutes)


Exit ticket: in the exit ticket teacher will but different animals’ pictures and
habitat students have to match the animals with correct habitat. for example,
camels in desert.
