GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

• A student can participate in any number of events provided the event


schedules do not coincide.
• Each participant and accompanying non participants should carry a
valid school identity card for inspection at the registration counter.
• The individual/team should report to the event Coordinator at least 30
minutes before the scheduled time of the event.
• The time limit for each competition must be adhered to. In case of non
compliance with the rules, points will be deducted for exceeding the
time limit.

• The fees for the Workshops have been mentioned in the schedule. The
mode of payment for the registration fee for the Competitions and
Workshops will be either cash or online payment.

Razzmatazz
How to play
A fashion show with loads of fun, style and exuberance. Get ready to up the glam quotient, stride gracefully
and play up the panache. Razzmatazz gives you the chance to showcase your talent, live the life of a
showstopper and highlight the creativity of a designer. Get ready to walk tall and walk smart! What sets the
fashion show different is along with style, you will also have to answer some questions on the spot or
showcase your hidden talent: dancing, singing, mimicry or mono-acting. Are the Miss Worlds and Mr
Universes ready?
Participant/s: Individual Student

Grade Criteria: Group I: Playgroup and Nursery

Group II: Junior KG and Senior KG

Fees: Rs. 150 /-

Duration: 3 minutes

Rules:

First Round: Children will walk the ramp displaying their costumes and also briefly introduce
themselves. (QUESTION ROUND: Judges pose a question to each participant).
1. The music for the ramp walk will be arranged by the school. Time Limit for Speech: 1 minute.
2. Theme: Mix-and-match (The theme is for Round 1 only).
3. Round 2: Display of Talent: dancing, singing, mimicry, mono acting, speech or any other chosen by
the participant.
4. Props: Participants need to arrange for the props (CD, musical instrument, etc.) for the talent
round.
5. Time limit for the talent round: 2 minutes per participant.

 Look Alike
How to play
Like father, like son! Here, you can also turn around the phrase like mother, like daughter or like
father, like daughter or like mother, like son! All you have to do is dress identical and show the
resemblance, both the parent and child must dress identically! What's more? You get a chance to
look like someone famous? So, whether it's Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus or Robert De Niro all you
have to do is get the costumes right!

Group II: Jr. Kg and Sr. Kg
Fees: Rs. 250/-

Rules:
1. As co-participants only the mother, father, uncle, aunt, grandfather or grandmother can
participate with the child.
2. Judgement will be based on the degree of similarity between the adult and child. For e.g.: If the
father has dressed up as Charlie Chaplin the child also needs to dress up in the same attire /
costume.
3. No backdrop setting will be provided.
4. Participants have to arrange for their own props and costumes.
5. You can dress up as a celebrity, community helper, etc. as per your choice.
 Shapes Do Matter
How to Play
Have you noticed that your little one is a Picasso or a Leonardo da Vinci in the making….. Here’s the
chance to bring his talent in to the limelight! Watch your child win accolades as s/he displays sheer
talent of art and craft using cut outs of different shapes.

Grade Criteria: Group II: Jr. Kg & Sr. Kg

Duration: 45 minutes
Rules:
1. Each child will be provided with an art sheet, glue and cut-outs of a few shapes.
2. The child can use colours and shape cut-outs to create their design.
3. The child will be marked on creativity, neatness of work and overall impact.
 Tap Your Feet
How to Play
Tap dance, a joyful noise! Select your favourite piece of foot tapping music and set the dance floor on
fire with your moves. Bring the rhythmic sound in your feet, tap away to any musical instrument of
your choice and jazz up the atmosphere. A tip to get you started: In addition to perfect move and
rhythm, a good attitude too can get you going! So, whether it’s Jazz Tap, Broadway variations or
Bollywood grooves make sure you have everyone swaying to your beat.

disqualification.

 Chance Pe Dance
How To Play
Rhythm, grace, verve, style, synchronisation and passion – are the elements that make any dance
performance fun! Get ready to show your moves and tug at the heartstrings of the audience. Here,
participants can choose any dance form they think they know the best. However, the dance needs to
be based on a chosen theme or should tell a story.
Theme:
Grade 1 & 2: Jungle
Grade 3 & 4: Tribute to a Bollywood Star
Participant/s: Group (Between 4 to 10 Students)
Grade Criteria: Group III: Grades 1 and 2

Group IV: Grades 3 and 4


Fees: Rs. 500/- per event
Duration: 4 to 6 minutes per group

Rules:
1. The narrator can be one of the participants who are dancing or another who is only the narrator.

2. On the spot entries will not be accepted


3. Only pre-recorded music is allowed
4. No bulky props are permitted
5. Proof of identity required at the time of registration
6. Participants need to reach the venue 30 minutes prior to the time assigned
7. Participants should carry a backup CD for their songs.
8. One copy of the CD containing the relevant music only should be submitted to the organizers a
week prior to the event.
9. Vulgarity or obscenity in the form of attire, moves and/or offensive lyrics will lead to immediate

 Symphony of the Soul
How to Play
Regale the audience with your mesmerizing vocals and rise to fame. This competition encourages the
students to exhibit their musical abilities through singing.
Participant/s: Individual
Grade Criteria: Group III: Grades 1 and 2

Group IV: Grades 3 and 4

Fees: Rs. 150/- per event


Duration: 3 minutes per participant

Rules:
1. Solo performance only.
2. On the spot entries will not be accepted.
3. Only pre-recorded background music is allowed.
4. All items required during performance should be facilitated by participant him/herself.
5. Proof of identity required at the time of registration.
6. Participants need to reach the venue 30 minutes prior to the time assigned.
7. Participants should carry a backup CD or pen drive for their music score.
8. One copy of the CD containing the relevant music only should be submitted to the organizers a
week prior to the event.
8. Usage of background track is optional.
 Cartoon Creation
How to Play
was actually a dog and Odie a cat?
Well, here's your chance to create cartoons of your choice , give them characteristics and bring them
alive on paper. So, bring out your pencil, colours and allow the cartoonist in you to create history!
Participant/s: Individual
Grade Criteria: Group III: Grades 1 and 2

Group IV: Grades 3 and 4

Fees: Rs. 150/- per event


Duration: 60 minutes
Rules:
1. Each participant needs to create his / her own cartoon character using his or her imagination
2. Medium for colouring: crayons (wax or oil pastels) and sketch pens
3. Participants will be provided with imperial art sheets
4. They are requested to bring their own materials e.g. pencils, eraser, crayons, etc.
5. Each participant must write his/her name, grade, group, name of the school and topic on the
paper in capital letters
6. Judgement will be based on the innovativeness and creativity of the child in creating a new
cartoon character
 Designer Hat
How To Play
The funky, the fancy, the creative or the cool! Hats are an attention grabbing accessory. They add a
dash of zing or panache to any outfit. Let your child’s creativity come to the fore with this
competition where they fashion themselves some cool head gear! Participants can use various
decorative materials ensuring that the final outcome is creative, beautiful, neat and unique.

Grade Criteria: Group III: Grades 1 and 2

Group IV: Grades 3 and 4

Fees: Rs. 150/- per event


Duration: 60 minutes
Rules:
1. Participants are required to bring essential material.
2. Participants can bring hats, Peacock feathers, laces, satin tapes, flowers and other decorative
material required for decoration.
3. All materials required for assembling the decoration must be arranged by the participants.
4. No child should decorate the hat before the competition.
5. The judgement will be based on presentation which should be creative, neat and unique.
 Mom's Magic
How to Play
Moms are our true master chefs! They can set our taste buds tingling with mouth watering
delicacies all while ensuring the use of healthy and nutritious ingredients. Let your child be your sous-
chef in this wonderful gastronomic competition that brings together parent and child. This is an
opportunity for all the young ones and our super moms to show off their very own magic!
Participants: Student and Parent
Grade Criteria: Group III: Grades 1 and 2

Group IV: Grades 3 and 4

Fees: Rs. 250/- per event


Duration: 45 minutes
Rules:
1. Strictly allowed only when a student participates with one adult
(parents/grandparents/uncle/aunt).
2. Gas, ovens & induction not permitted in the competition premises.
3. Uncut vegetables and fruits should be brought from home.
4. Only vegetarian recipes should be prepared by the participants.
5. Ingredients and all required material should be carried by the participants.
6. Judges’ decision will be final.

You know what to do! This is a platform where you can showcase real talent. So, get groovy and set
the dance floor on fire! We are looking for entertainment combined with a theme. This means your
song; your costume and your dance style must follow some commonality. Here, bring out your
hidden choreographer... set some original dance steps and shine like a star.

How To Play
This is a quickest way to rise to fame. All you have to do is showcase your best skills, something you
are proud of and present it in one minute. This could be anything from dance, song, magic,
storytelling, etc. So if you think you have it in you to be a performer, Viva’s stage is all set for you.
Grade Criteria:
Group VI: Grade 8 to 10
Fees: Rs. 150/- per event
Duration: 3 minutes

Rules:
1. Display of Talent – dancing, singing, mimicry, mono acting, speech or any other chosen by the
participant.
2. Props: Participants need to arrange for the props (CD, Musical Instrument, etc.) for the talent
round.

 Paint Your Sole
How To Play
Bored of painting on canvas and paper? Designing clothes and jewellery is passé. Time to showcase
some cool footwear. Viva gives you a chance to reinvent and recreate. Pick up those paintbrushes
and splash some colour on your old pair of shoes.
Grab on those boots and give the best designers a run for their money!
Participant/s: Individual
Grade Criteria: Group V: Grade 5 to 7
Fees: Rs. 150/- per event
Duration: 60 minutes
Rules:
1. Each participant needs to paint a canvas shoe with a unique design using their creativity and
imagination.
2. Participants need to paint only a single shoe.
3. The participants need to bring a plain white / black canvas shoe (E.g. a Bata) and all painting
material required for the same.
 Viva Treasure Hunt
How to Play
Enjoy the thrill and chill of a real treasure hunt -- a mix of confusing clues and red herrings. All of this
will happen under the guidance and assistance of a treasure hunt volunteer. All you have to do is use
any of these vehicles -- car, taxi, rickshaw or a bike to reach the appointed spots first to come out as
the ultimate winner!
Participant/s: Group of 4 (must include 3 students and an adult)
Grade Criteria: Group VI: Grade 8 to 10
Fees: Rs. 500/- per team.
Rules:
1. Only one entry per school.
2. Organisers will not provide any means of transport. Participants have to make the necessary
arrangements themselves.
3. Specific rules will be announced before the commencement of the hunt.
 Wannabe Super Chef?
Here’s calling all the little master chefs! The aim is to create Michelin Star chefs of tomorrow; as they
explore their senses and express their creativity through the technical knowhow of cooking.
The theme for the competition is healthy quick snack bite (no gas cooking).
Participants: Individual
Grade Criteria:
Group VI: Grade 8 to 10
Fee: Rs. 150/- per event
Duration: 60 minutes
Rules:
1. Participants are required to carry ingredients for the competition.
2. The dish will be judged on the basis of nutrition, taste and presentation.
3. Note: The ingredients used should be pure vegetarian.
 Spell-o-Pedia
Bitten by the spelling bug? Well here’s one just for our little wordsmiths. Read up your dictionary and
get going…spell every word that there is and challenge the world of SMS!
Participant/s: Team Of 2 only
Grade Criteria:

Group V: Grades 5 to 7

Fees: Rs. 250/- per event


Rules:
ROUND 1: ELIMINATION ROUND – 10 MINUTES
1. This is an elimination round.
2. Each pair will be given a set of letters, which will create a 9 or more letter word.
3. The pairs will be given 3 minutes to find the solution.
4. It is ‘a first come first serve’ round.
5. The first ten pairs will move to the second round, example: NEGOTEMRVN —
>GOVERNMENT.
ROUND 2: SCRIBBLE ME DOWN – 10 MINUTES
1. The ‘pronouncer ‘will call out 20 words and the pairs will write it down on a paper
2. Each word will be given 20 seconds after which the pronouncer will pronounce the next word.
3. The evaluation will be done immediately and the top 5 teams move to the Final Round.

Description: Calligraphy is a visual art related to writing. Participate in the calligraphy workshop
and learn various forms and fonts of lettering. Enhance and improve your handwriting abilities for
visual representation through this workshop. The specially trained personnel will show exactly
why this visual art was so popular with monks and scribes through ancient civilizations!
 Chocolate Making
 Fees: Rs.250 /- per event

Applicable to Grades: Primary
Description: Here's calling all the chocolatiers! Learn how to make chocolates, using chocolate
moulds and create yummilicious recipes. Try it and treat all your loved ones with your chocoiza
recipes.
Note: Participants will carry chocolate moulds, nuts etc.
 Wear It and Sport It
 Fees: Rs. 300/- per event

Applicable to Grades: Middle School and Secondary (5-10)


Description: Calling all the designers to create a new and exclusive T-shirt. This workshop will
guide you on how to use some day-to-day objects like stamps, paint, coins and lot of imagination
to create your personalised T-shirt that is never to be found on the racks of a regular shopping
mall!
Note: Students will have to get their own t-shirt (Plain in white or black colour)
 Friendly Puppets
 Fees: Rs. 200/- per event

Applicable to Grades: Pre- Primary


Description: A little imagination is all it takes to create a variety of interesting character puppets.
Let’s have loads of fun, as we create our own puppet friends,and
