Evernote is designed for note taking.

These notes can have file

attachments, be stored in a notebook, edited, and receive comments.
Students have autonomy to create their Evernotes how they would like
to, but Evernote helps them along the way by have templates for
lectures, essays, planners, to-do lists, project plans, meal planners, and
daily reflections. This can be helpful when assigning projects, giving
lectures, and writing essays to give students structure. They can also
store helpful links and resources for projects and/or assignments for
quick access, such as links to resources online.
