Introduction
Zomato started out as a home project in 2008 in India and turned out to be the biggest food
aggregators in the world currently serving up to 24 countries worldwide. They work with people
and food chains in close context and provide a sustainable ecosystem.
Financial and Non financial data analysis for decision making
Zomato collects financial and non-financial data such as personal information including name,
date of birth, phone number, gender etc., preferences including language and time zone,
content including lists, followers, favorite restaurant, reservations, service names,
communication including messages between users, transactional information that includes
credit card information, payment modes, public posts like posts, likes, reviews and rating.
Information of people recommended with consent. They collect information via technology
using cookies, computer information, device used, location, web pages visited, activity of the
services, mobile phone tracked data and social media provided data. These data are critical to
decision-making process of the organization like;
