includes language, dressing style, way of talking habits and many others. globalisation
reflects a broad perception that the world is fast becoming a common social space influenced
by economic and technological forces so that developments in one region of the world can
have profound consequences in individuals and communities across the globe. Loss of
cultural identity is the identity of a group or culture or of an individual as far as one is
influenced by ones belonging to a group or culture. These cultural identitifiers may be the
result of various conditions including location, gender, race, history nationality language
sexuality religious beliefs ethnicity aesthetics and even food. The UNESCO has defined the

civilisation every culture has its good and bad virtues. It is completely on an individual

The current era of globalisation with its unprecedented acceleration and intensification in the
global flows of capital labour and information, is having a homogenizig influence of local
culture. It may bring with it a loss of uniqueness of local culture, which in turn can lead to
loss of identity, exclusion and even conflict. This is especially true for traditional societies
and communities which are exposed to rapid modernisation based on models imported from
outside and not adapted to their context.

For example the new availability of foreigngoods in a market will often available at cheaper
price this can displace local farmers who have traditionally earned a living by working their
small plots of family owned land and selling their goods locally.

Globalisation does more than simply increase the availability of foreign made consumer
products and disrupt traditional producers. Globalisation is changing mans relationship to its
own environment. Although it raises the need for economic development contributing to the
spread of the western culture.
