1.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to pronounce words and
speak confidently with the correct stress, rhythm and intonation.
1.2 By the end of the 6 year primary schooling, pupils will be able to listen and respond
appropriately in formal and informal situations for a variety of purposes.
1.1.4 Able to talk about related topics with guidance.
1.2.4 Able to participate in guided conversations with peers
By the end of this lesson, pupils will be able to :
1. Identify 3 festivals celebrated by various races in Malaysia.
2. Show respect and love friends from different races.
3. Talk about at least one festival celebrated in Malaysia.
1. Pupils share about their best friends from different races.
2. Pupils watch a video about Eid Mubarak celebration.
3. Pupils say out other festivals celebrated in Malaysia (e.g. Chinese New Year, Deepavali,
etc.)
4. Pupils are divided into groups. Each group find the information about a festival
celebrated in Malaysia in the textbook.
5. Stay-Stray: Pupils share about the festivals celebrated in Malaysia to the other friends.
6. Pupils answer quizzes from the teacher.
