1. Compliance

1. Collecting fees
 No fees shall be collected for any NSTP Components Except basic tuition fee
which should not be more than (50%) percent of the charges of the school
per academic unit. NSTP Tuition collected shall constitute a trust Fund, which
shall be exclusively used for operation of the program.
 Seventy percent (70%) of the NSTP fees collected shall be proportionately
allocated to 3 programs according to number of enrollees; the remaining
(30%) shall be used to cover un- programmed expenses related to NSTP
Implementation.
2. Trust Funds
 Funds derived from NSTP- related operation shall serve as augmentation
to sustain un-programmed activities of NSTP.
 The unexpended fund balance shall be carried over to the next semester;
provided, however, NSTP funds shall not be converted into savings at the
expense of the proper implementation of the program.
 Rental space of school and other similar expenses shall not be charged to
NSTP.
3. Insurance
 School authorities concerned, CHED and TESDA shall ensure that health
and accident group insurance are provided for students enrolled in any of
the NSTP components.
 Schools that already provide health and accident group insurance and
collect the necessary fees for the purpose from their students as of the
effectivity of this rules, are deemed to have complied with this
requirement.

4. Establishment of NSTP Office


 Under section 10. No.4 Personnel involve in NSTP Shall be provided
honorarium and other incentives based on the standard policy set forth by
the HEIs.
