Abstract
The Address Book is a desktop base application that allow the user to run it on a specified
Drive on their Pc’s and laptops. This application will keep Protect the user personal data. The
application will help to user to store their personal data like emails passwords and other
contacts of his friend in a database. The Address Book is one of the best choice for users to
store their personal data. This application will use manually by the user it will not run
automatically but we can save personal and important data of user. It also protects personal
data of user from third party when user want to open the application first time it will register
himself. Then user can enter to the application by giving the username and password, after
opening the application successfully then user can store view and print reports of his data using
many users’ forms, and reporting.

1. Introduction
In the currant and modern era of computer, the computer is use widely like every organization,
office, mega store, workshops, etc. Every person has personal data in his computer which user
want to store forever and protect them from other users. He wants to store that data form in the
computer. So, for this purpose we are going to develop such a desktop application which are
used to store user data from others this application on user specified user drive. This
application will give the facilities to the user to store personal data of user., the application
“Address Book” is the new idea for all desktop users to store the user important and personal
data. This could be run on every user specified drive where the user wants to store their
personal data of himself and others friend important contacts which user does not want to lose
them, this application will be run smoothly and not disturb the flow of other application in
computer.
The application also the ability to store video and graphic file of himself in a database.

2. Problem Statement
Computer Technology is now a day spread all over the world rapidly. Everyone knows the
benefits of computer technology. As we seen the latest computer technology in the current era
is widely been increasing. But this computer technology has some Disadvantages in human
life. The computer which we use everywhere in our daily life then we have some personal
information, our friends contacts our different email addresses and password which we can’t

memorize every and if we can’t store them in a specified place then any time we can lost our
important information and then we can face a lot of difficulties to recovers that information.
So, if we have that type of information. And we want to store them in a database. For this
problem we are going to make the address book application for salutation this problem. By
running this application, the user can store there important and personal data easily and
successfully.

3. Objectives
The objectives of this project are below
1. This is a desktop base application
2. This application will be reliable and efficient
3. This application will store important data of user.
4. This application useful for every organization and personal use
5. This application will store personal data of user in a specified folder
6. This application will be run on specified drive
7. This application will be easy to use

4. Proposed Solution
So, for this purpose we are going to develop such a desktop application which are used to store
these important data of users this application on user specified user drive This application will
give the facilities to the user to store important data of user It will also protect these data from
losing and from accessing other persons.
This application is useful for every organization and personal use and it will be easy to store
and protect personal data of user.

5. Methodology
We have decided to use the C Sharp language for development of this application. Study
different type of languages but not suitable for the development of this application. For
interface we will use Photoshop/visual studio. After gathering some information about the
Address Book applications, we are then able to write test programs for storing the user data.
After a successful test of application, we have get to store the data that was the first step of
towards solving the problem

7. Tools and Techniques

7.1. C Sharp
C# is an elegant and type-safe object-oriented language that enables developers to build a
variety of secure and robust applications that run on the .NET Framework. You can use C# to
create Windows client applications, XML Web services, distributed components, client-server
applications, database applications, and much, much more. Visual C# provides an advanced
code editor, convenient user interface designers, integrated debugger, and many other tools to
make it easier to develop applications based on the C# language and the .NET Framework
C# syntax is highly expressive, yet it is also simple and easy to learn. The curly-brace syntax of
C# will be instantly recognizable to anyone familiar with C, C++ or Java. Developers who
know any of these languages are typically able to begin to work productively in C# within a
very short time. C# syntax simplifies many of the complexities of C++ and provides powerful
features such as null able value types, enumerations, delegates, lambda expressions and direct
memory access, which are not found in Java

7.2. Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop is software that is extensively used for raster image editing, graphic design
and digital art. It makes use of layering to allow for depth and flexibility in the design and
editing process, as well as provide powerful editing tools, that when combined, are capable of
just about anything.

7.3. Laptop Cor-i3
Cor-i3 laptop is used along with their installed software i.e. windows 8 operating system,
visual studio etc. the laptop comprises of 4GB RAM, 1.70 GHz Processor and so on.

8. Summary
To develop a desktop base application that allow the user to run it on a specified Drive on their
Pc’s and laptops. In this project we will be working on to develop a desktop base application.
The main aim of developing this desktop base application is a centralized database for contact
and other personal information for people. Users need to enter personal information about
themselves and their friends only once, instead of entering it repeatedly whenever the
information is used.
This application is useful for every organization and personal use and it will be easy to keep
protect personal data of user.
