AUTOCAD MODULE 1 (2D)
This course alms to provide you with familiarity n the interface, various editing tools, coordinate system, layering
and dimensioning used in AutoCAD. The focus will be on 2D Drawing concepts
Course Objective
Atthe end ofthis course, you will be able to:
+ Identify the AutoCAD environment and using help
+ Identify and use the commands and icons for creating primitive 20 shapes
+ Use and understand the Dynamic and Pointer Input
+Use the snap and editing tools on 2D shapes
+ Apply appropriate hatching and dimensioning to drawings
+Create, modify, and reuse blocks
+ Identify types of attributes, create and modify blocks with attributes
+ Create and edit dynamic blocks
+ Understand the print setup & printing command in AutoCAD
+ Use the grip and various selection methods for object selection and modifying
+ Use the object and layer filtering to search objects and managing drawing respectively
+ Use Xref and XClip to reuse objects from database
